What is the scalper scene like? Anybody buy tickets from them? Are they legit? How much they going for outside and are there a lot available? I know that was a lot of questions and tid bit of info would help. Looking to screw the scum and score a pair for tonight for very cheap.

My brother is considering a trip uptown. I'd like to offer him a first hand, er... second hand report.

dude, more people trying to unload an extra than people looking. if anyone tries to sell you for face just go to the next guy. ABB management couldn't unload AA orch seats out front of the venue, tonight with the rain you could probably score a good seat for $35-$40 bucks.
not too many people want to see them at rev ike's christ community united church, and with the crap weather tonight that means less people outside looking.

I'm part of the security team.

Don't buy any tickets from any sclapers. Let them eat it and they will.

Plenty of regular fans are getting stuck with tickets because of many unforeseen problems with their friends.

Buy a ticket if needed, from a fan. F-ck the sclapers.

The Brothers are as hot as they ever been.

A Great two shows so far.

Throw the cigarette smokers out if you want but please let us burn a little - this is the Allman Brothers Band for pete's sake! It's the right thing to do..........<///////////////////////##~~~~

It's not what the Bowery presents security wants it's what rev ike's security wants. The guys wearing the suits have final say, let's not forget this place is a church, and maybe they shouldn't have concerts like this in there. Make the church hurt and don't buy anymore popcorn from them

I agree here.

I've been to plenty of shows where the lights go out, and the smoking lamp is LIT.
(Like at the MSG Roger Waters show in '06, touring DSOTM)

But here, I don't think they're going to let it turn into a free for all.
Be calm, consider your neighbors, and whats going on around you, you'll be alright.
You pull out the 6 ft pipe, or cigar blunts...and yeah, they'll come get you.

totally agree with you, or paying $225 or $325 or those $500 seats

the allmans sound great this year like every other year, but christ community united church isn't the venue to have it in.

they should have ponied up the cash and rented the Nokia for 3 weeks - easy to get to, plenty of hotels, bars and restaurants - all the out-of-towners would have come in (most aren't this year) - and the dancing/sitting situation would have resolved itself. Selling out 15 shows would have been no problem there. Dumb move having the run at this uptown joint in the middle of nowhere. Probably what cost Kirk his job. IMO of course!

now everything makes much more sense...can't sell out christ community united church...an "urgent family matter" pops up that can be put off until the end of the month (when the added shows are)...cancel 1/3 of the shows...fire tour manager...
