Maybe it was my mono TV. Didn't come through well at all.

I have to agree.

It was a small stage....or maybe it was a big band!

Gregg looked and sounded great!!!

Why do guitar players make those twisted faces? Not criticizing, just asking!

Everyone looked good. Sounded great = that's no surprise!

Oteil startin things off & Jaimoe looked cool in the backwards baseball cap.

The space looked real tight for 7. IMHO, only Fallon looked awkward relating
to them at the end. It even seemed as if he blew the end plug by mentioning
March 20th (as the start?) Couldn't really make out what he said.

All in all a real nice showing!

A great way to get this party started!
Bring it on!
Much peace, love. respect, safety and well wishes to the band and the fans for another great run about to happen.

When Jimmy said the 20th, Gregg looked like he really wanted to say something!
I will say one thing, Jimmy made a point of shaking hands or hugging evey member of the band.
I liked that. Never saw Leno nor Letterman do that. Overall, very nice.

I've also noticed that Leno doesn't do that...but,I've seen Dave do it a lot....& Conan almost always does...

Derek and Warren's guitar solo's had to be the shortest solo's in Whipping Post history. I understand why and all, network tv is not the place for a 20 minute Whipping Post. But they were just getting warmed up!

A good showing, could hear Derek just fine and thought the way Warren built his solo was.......interesting. Jimmy's enthusiasm at the end of the performance appeared to be genuine making it just that much better...Liked the aggressive choice of tunes too. Come out ...and punch 'em....hard.......That, should sell some seats.

yeah great point ~ big band, small space but they alll looked & sounded great! Gregg really sounded stellar & looked good too! they had to keep it short & sweet to what we are used to but it was awesome none the less! jimmy was definitly personable & genuinely seemed to enjoy the moment!

The band sounded great. Gregg's voice was strong. A short but sweet version of Whipping Post. Does not sound like a band that wants to scale back! Keep the train rolling.
