The Seattle Post-Intelligencer has pictures of Joe Bonamassa from his show at The Moore Theater in Seattle on March 5, 2010

In number 12 he is standing behind a Theremin!

Has anyone seen a recent show where he plays it?

Yeah, I saw him play it... I tis just blah, it did not add a lot or do very much.... It was just okay. More of a gimmick than anything.

That's too bad, I do enjoy a well played theremin. If I see a theremin or trombone on stage it always raises my expectations for a memorable show!

Well, that is just my own opinion... others may like it more but i did not think it was anything memorable.

It's not just live. On his last album he plays it on the song The Ballad Of John Henry.

I remember seeing him before the album was out and he opened with that song and played theremin. Quite a shock for me at the time! It's nothing revolutionary, but I do think it's cool in the song.
