Hey there sweet family,

At 8:00 pm EST on Sunday February 21st Butch Trucks will be doing a live webcast. You will have the chance to talk to Butch live and ask him all of your burning questions. Visit Moogis.com and on the front page and on the right-side there is a section that reads, "Live Webcast Event!" On Sunday, a link will appear there and you will be able to enjoy a live webchat with Butch.

Take care and know that you are loved,

Lana

I remember seeing this thread before I went out yesterday and thought I would come back to some amusing post.
I mean, such a pertinent volitile subject is being discussed right in the midst of this thread, and nobody responds? I'm shocked!!
I thought there would be drool all over this post. A chance to ask Butchie straight out all the burning question we have only speculated about! I thought it would be..Where do I sign up!
With all that has been said, I am so curious now to watch this to see who will come and ask those hardnose journalists questions about him and Betts! That is what we want to know, for the most part I'm afraid to say, isn't it?
Will the questions be screened?

I am very interested in Moogis, I think it is a brilliant inovation and say what you will, it is a vision fulfilled.
Bravo Butch Truck!
I am by no means calling anyone out for not posting a response here. I would never presume to tell you where or when to post. I was only displaying my surprise over it.
You may have plans to join in Sunday night, rant and rave about Dickey..I don't know
I may get into this..I'm tivo'ing 24 anyway.

I dare all any of you to say anything like some of you guys say here, directly to Butch without hiding behind a screen name.

Unlikely that any of the Dickey bashers on this site would run their mouths directly to Dickey.
All of it should be between Dickey and Butch.
At least Dickey (and the rest of the band) seems to be able to keep it that way.

It has nothing to do with me or anyone else posting here - it's all in Butch's court.

Well, there's probably a lot of garden variety Vince's out there in the world. Which one are you? Let everybody know, Vince. Cause you're courageous. Come on out and reveal yourself to everyone.

No offense to Butch or Lana, but if Butch is going to hold a "press conference" and allow questions, it might be a little rediculous to think the topic of Dickey would never come up? It would be like if Tiger actually took questions from reporters the other day and nobody asked hime about his extra marital affairs? To be honest, I would rather hear from Dickey than Butch on the subject. Not that anybody will have the balls to actually ask Butch about Dickey, but it would be interesting to hear about it? Nothing like a little dirty laundry to spice things up? What is the first question you are going ask Butch, "Mr Trucks, do you own a fax machine?"

Really, I am surprised that people can't just leave it in the past. We are going on, what, ten years now? Who cares what Butch thinks about Dickey? It's over. That ship has sailed and it is never coming back. EVER. You guys need to let it go. I love the current form of the ABB and wouldn't change it for anything.

Just go and listen to the 03/26/09 Beacon show and relax!

Still working on revealing that last name, Vince?

I love how I am not alone in feeling this a high water mark show.
People, you listen to this show and you'll remember why we are here.
This is one special show on the 26th of a month (6/26/71) that is not impossible to hear over and over again.
I would ask Butch about this night.
Did you all before the show just rev yourselves up to play at that level? What source from deep down within you drove you all to play like that this particular night? Did you all feel it while it was happening?
I remember years ago in a VHS interview Butch speakd about the 6/26/71 show , how they felt "everything was right there".

That is the question that I would ask, and will If I get through.

The Olympics are still going on? I thought it was over when Shaun White won the gold?

Do they still play hockey in the USA? I thought the NHL had worse ratings than Minor League Baseball (they don't televise Minor League Baseball).

The game doesn't start until 5 minutes left in the 3rd period.

This is much more important than a bunch of guys skating on a frozen pond pucking around!

Plus, don't you guys have Tivo or something similar to that?

Actually some, but not very many, minor league baseball games are televised. I am sure most cable markets don't get the games, but here in Ga. we get some AAA games on Comcast Sports. Not the same as seeing the games in person though. Even our single A Green Jackets are fun to watch in person.

Well, I guess I was wrong!

I don't think this is a press conference. I thought Butch would answer questions about problems
with moogis.

I'm not a fan of Butch, but Geez, why can't y'all leave this alone. People who have problems with moogis
probably need this time. Can't y'all show some consideration for them?

I don't know what it is about baseball? I can't watch a game on TV for nothing, but love to actually go to a game. We have a great minor league team and a first class stadium. We always try to go on the 4th of July.

Now back to the topic at hand ....
