Moogis is updated. Brand new site. I had to update my password plus resubscribe on the forum. Last years profile is gone. Looks like they are going to bring stuff over to the new site though. Probably pictures.

Great.

Tried 6 times to change my password and no password reset email from
Moogis.

So now I can't log in to the site I paid for.

Check your junk mail. My password reset was sent there. I tried about 15 times until I thought about checking there and sure enough, all 15 emails were sent to my junk. Opened it up and reset it and was good to go.

Send them an email -- Jeremy will fix the problem, he's been great.

That said, the site does have some tech issues -- poor sound, no sound, shows that don't play. But -- we were given a heads on on this "period of adjustment" -- so I hope that is taken care of soon.

Now is the time to get it all straightened out. I am sure they are working hard on it all. I have some people on facebook saying they aren't getting the emails to change passwords and nothing in their spam or trash folders. Hold tight and I am sure it'll all get figured out.

Still not able to log onto the web site that I paid for.

Dozens of password resets, no email from Moogis.

Sent 3 requests for help to Moogis, no response.

Good luck anyone trying to use this.

No problems for me.

Are they going to add the chat function back - I couldn't find it - that was the best part for watching live shows - talking to everybody about it.....

I hope they add it back too. I had to re-register for the forums section. It would not take my previous info.

Still unable to log in and have had no responses to several email requests for help. Getting pretty frustrated. Tried to send an email to admin@moogis.com but got the mail bounced back.
Any advice?

AARGH!

I sent the password request and it came back thru my email with no problems. I clicked that link in my email sent to me from Moogis, which allowed me to enter a new password. I did have to re-register on the forums, by the number of posts on there, looks like everyone has to re-register. Don't know what I did to make it work, but I am enjoying the Charlotte show as I type. Hopefully the admins will get it going for you.

I don't know what it is that's the problem for some but please make sure nothing is in your spam or trash filters first. Are the ones having trouble able to get a new profile and password going in the forum? If so, you could start a thread to see if you get response that way or maybe I'll go start a thread on the subject.

As far as chat goes, yes they are bringing it back. When you sign onto the member login it brings you to "Go To Live Webcast" or "View Archives Video on Demand" when you click the "Live Webcast" there is a "close" option or a "chat" option. They are not working yet though.

I started a thread in hopes to get more help on Moogis. One person mentioned that having Comcast is not good as they filter email at will with no indication of what's being filtered but if you already paid a subscription with a comcast address then you have to stick with it. There has to be a tech answer to this problem. Another person posted this experience which may be of help...

This is what happened with me:

I paid for my subscription and was watching 2009 Beacon shows for a few days. Then I went on to MOOGIS and noticed that they had launched their new site. I tried to log on but it kept telling me "invalid user account". I contacted the tech help on the site and i got an automated response about the "butch said reset my password".
I tried both of the password reset options and neither of them worked because of the invalid user issue. I re-contacted them and said I could not reset my password and they responded again saying it should work now. I tried the reset, it said an email would be sent to me to change it... but none came.

I emailed them one last time and they responded almost immediately and I was then able to get the emails (about 6 showed up because i had tried it numerous times)
I reset my password and got back on the site

SO, anyone having this issue I think all they need to do is adjust something on their end to get you back into the members area. It took a couple of days, which isnt bad considering how much they have going on.

Just be patient I'm sure everything will get sorted out and one thing to mention was I replied directly to the emails instead of sending via the FAQ area which sped up the process and they responded very quickly to remedy the situation.

Same here. In my case Moogis is not recognizing my email account (although it recognized it well enough to send an initial email and charge my credit card). And like jersey_devil have tried everything suggested here and in Moogis FAQ's, etc to no avail (and I'm not on Comcast). Disappointed and frustrated.

Same here, day 6. I do not have Comcast and do not have any mail filters that would prohibit my getting email from Moogis. I did recieve the original email about the changes and that the site may be down temporarily. I also recieved the "Butch said to reset my password" email as well.
I am also unable to log in to the forums site although it does recognize my user name.
I've made several attempts to email them through the "Contacts" on the website and even sent Butch a private message yesterday.
My frustration level is just about maxed out here. I've gone from being a big Moogis fan and promoter of the site to being greatly dissappointed.
I'm not ready to give up yet but am pretty upset that so far no one has responded.
I know a few good webmasters if Moogis is looking for somebody who can actually make the site run properly.
