By the time this thing actually starts (if ever!), the ABB run at United Palace will be over.

Wrong! F the Beacon. I hope they never play there again. MSG and Dolan thought nothing of showing them the door for Cirque, why should they run back when it's available?

Besides, the "new" MSG Beacon had really lost something since the early nineties. Just wasn't grungy enough.

I'm sorry, where are you from, Iowa? The UPT is FAR from the Grand Concourse. It's in another BOROUGH!

Anyone who thinks that the neighborhood where the Brothers will be playing is "ghetto" should come to where I go to work.....One visit to the old South Boogie Down and you'll see how nice it is up here in the Heights.

no matter which way you slice it, washington heights is a sh*thole. You can throw a rock from there and hit the bronx. There are worse areas, but it's probably the best a fire fighters salary will get you

Well, you clearly don't know the first thing about Washington Heights. There are plenty of areas that are lousy, but it is no **** hole. Most importantly, my area (Hudson Heights) is fantastic. It has vibrance and diversity, along with my amazing view of the Hudson River.

It is the best you can do with a firefighters salary and it ain't bad. Since you are familiar with a city salary, please, contact your local politician and ask them to give us raises! We can all use a little more cash

Lastly, since you made it personal. I'll add this, you must be the worst ABB fan I've ever seen represented here on this forum. Where is the love, devotion and faith in your band. I'm sure back in the day you wouldn't have been out in the fields and parks listening to the jam sessions that started this 41 year odyssey. Probably not clean, convenient and comfortable enough for you.

If you don't like the venue, don't come. Your attitude is not welcome.

I love abb but I don't suffer from blind loyality. It's ok to disagree and voice your opinion. Your the one who started throwing insults around to every abb fan from iowa. As soon as anyone disagrees with abb management all you sheep cry judas. They moved to a cheaper theater with rent who knows how much less than the beacon and ticket prices go up? Give me a break.

I insulted no one from Iowa. I only suggested that they wouldn't know where the grand concourse was. Take it down a notch chief.

We weren't talking about ticket prices (which should be cheaper in this economy AND at a cheaper more out of the way theater).

This should really stop. Funny as it is to read....take it to PM. I'll assume doster79 will NOT have to be spoken to about yabbering on his cell while the Band is performing (like some other tool last year) because he WILL NOT BE THERE.

The venue is what it is.
The Band remains the same.
So do the ticket prices. In light of the TM/Live Nation merger, be glad you can still see them!
