Dude, it's Danica. She can do anything.

She can finish every race in 9th place every series she races in.

She's for real. She's obviously the only woman who has even shown the potential to compete on this level.

I wonner if Jr is boinking her.

Did not realize Scott Speed was in NASCAR. Not a great F1 driver, but cool that he's in it.

I was in the pit at the '06 500 and yelled out to Max Papis in Italian (he was running IROC that yr). Freaked him right out!

You can continue to think Scott Speed is not in Nascar...despite sponsorship, he is in the back, if he finishes at all....

Now there is a guy the masses would love to see finish well and if he won, sheesh.....

The fact of the matter is, in this race...all you have to do is be near the front at the end and you have a chance....it's that "making it to the end part" that is a tough one.

My favorite part of restrictor plate racing is the Monday Morning Blame For The Big One Game the fans play. Everyone watching on the couch thinks they are an expert at driving a car 190 mph inches apart from another car.

I can't wait to watch the Nationwide race and see how Danica does, honestly.

I wish her well, but that ARCA race was nuthin' compared to what she'll see Saturday.

They hardly did NO bump drafting in the ARCA race and she did not drive all that close to anyone, very little drafting....sure she showed some talent in coming from the back, so again...can't wait to see Saturday. Maybe she'll be the exception to the influx of open wheel drivers.

I agree 'hawk, that driving inches apart stuff is really something we fans take for granted.

Was that ARCA race chopped up painful to watch or what? Did they have more than 10 green flag laps at any point?

You are right, alot of caution laps.

The truck race will be rained out today for sure...but weather down there tomorrow looks dry.

Leave it to NASCAR to be as gray as possible....rule change:

"In the past, when a caution occurred in the closing laps of a race, the field made one attempt at a green-white-checker flag finish. Under the new rule, NASCAR will make sure the track is clean, run multiple green laps before waving the white and finally the checkered flag. NASCAR will make three attempts at a green-white-checker finish. "

Recipe for disaster. What will this mean at gas mileage tracks like Michigan and Pocono?

I've read that sentence about 10 times and still have no idea what it means. Does that mean they will run multiple green flag laps and then wave the white when they feel like it?

Kind of why I said gray as possible...

But your interpretation is what I came up with too, so...that must be it.

I like the three attempts idea. Last weekends race was going to be a drag race finish and someone in the mid pack ended the race and ruined the chance for a spectacular finish.

I hate watching a race for 2-3 hours anticapating a big ending and then a wreck ends race in a yellow. Yawwwnnnnn

Danica can finish anywhere she wants to, IMO. I'll still pull for her.

Btw: I hope Mark Martin wins it all this year. I'm getting a bit tired of the #48 show....

Yeah! Mark Martin!!!
