I'm really glad to see the ABB on this. They deserve it, obviously, but also there are not many BANDS on the list.

I didn't get it either. IMHO she's doesn't even come close to being in the league of the other performers.

They have been good friends for a long time. He always includes her.

I think dated briefly....."My Favorite Mistake" is rumored to have been written about EC (not sure how true that is but I've heard it from multiple people)

Very nice! Should make the trip and hit Julie's restaurant while I'm at it. That would be fun!

John Mayer........ Well, with a lineup like that, it's good to know that you can go hit the Bathrooms during his set, or hit the Concession stands etc and not feel guilty about missing anything.

Yep, they dated for a short while but it appears to be one of those types of relationships where you realize you'd do better as friends. Anyway seems that way from my perspective since they've continued to do a LOT of these types of collaberations. Can't imagine that they would have continued in this vein were they not good friends (and can't see EC going 'now, who are some of the best guitar players in the world - oh I know ... Sheryl Crow!' ) Like he said in his announcement - these are all people he likes to play with.

I wonder how many songs the ABB willl get to play? I am sure Layla with EC will be one of them. This will be a very short set for the boys. Wanee is still looking like the best bet if you want to get a full shot of the ABB. I would assume DT will get to sit in with EC, but you never know. I am sure everybody would like to sit in with Clapton. I am sure it will be a great day of music no matter how long the ABB get to play. I am guessing 6 or 7 tunes at best?
