I'm just recovering from my dinner experience tonight. My wife made a wonderful penne pasta with chicken vodka sauce. We turned down the lights and lit a couple candles. After putting a little parmesan on her pasta she accidently dropped the cheese bowl in her dish. Reaching over to assist, I knocked my beer glass over spilling all over the table, chairs, and floor. After a short break to clean up we resumed our meal. I told her that I would clean up the kitchen. While doing so I accidently shot myself with the kitchen sprayer. Startled, I dropped the expensive pasta bowl in the sink, putting a big chip in the rim. She decided to help by taking my empty beer bottle to the recycling bin, but knocked it over and it rolled off the counter breaking on the kitchen floor. Fortunately we managed to clean up without any blood being shed. Now she's reading and I'm playing on the computer. We'll probably be speaking again by the time American Idol comes on.

Tomorrow I think we'll just order pizza.

At least no broccoli was involved.

You remember! The broccoli problem is solved, but sadly it involved direct confrontation. I tried your salad bar suggestion about a week after you made it, but she never even noticed. Lately she's been focused on stuff with grated ginger root, which I like but not everyday. Hopefully it won't become a problem.
