It sounds as though they will only do a handful of special shows with revolving friends. What you might see at one Festival you may not at another. Maybe Warren plays with them one night?? Ya never know.

From Susan's website...

http://www.susantedeschi.com/default.aspx

Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Tour Dates

The formidable husband-and-wife duo are joining forces for a handful of ‘special’ performance dates.

Both Susan & Derek are taking some time off this year for much needed family time, but as
lifelong performers they won't be able to stay off the road for too long
without taking the stage to play music with friends.

The first concert will be a headlining appearance at the Savannah Music
Festival on April 1. From there, the group will play at Wanee Music Festival
on April 17 before heading to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for a
performance April 30. June 5th they play Mountain Jam.

Currently, the duo is rehearsing new material down in their Jacksonville home with a
rotating cast of fellow musicians and friends.

Look for future updates about additional shows and to announce each show’s unique musical line-up.

Fantastic to hear. I hope they get to my neck of the woods. We will hit the road if we have to, hopefully they can at least make it to Chicago or Summerfest? I was hoping they would put in a few more dates since the ABB are cutting back. I do understand, and I am sure they need some R & R from the touring grind. I am sure the kids love having mom and dad home at the same time. I could see where that would get old for everyone. Good luck to Susan and Derek and I hope I am lucky enough to catch a show.

I'm thinking about doing a road trip.... I hear the South callin' me!!

Awe Mike, you are too sweet. I have been eagerly keeping a look at Susan's website so it was good to see some sort of update. I hope you make that road trip Mike and end up at Wanee. There are so many fine folks from here who will be there. Keep me posted.

I wonder if they'll be hanging in New Orleans during the entire Jazzfest, since they'll be playing both weekends. I hope they (D&S Band) play a club gig or two while they're down there. 1st weekend especially.

I have tickets to to the April 1st show at the Savannah Music Festival.

Guests showing up! hmmm. A certain friend of theirs lives very close to Savannah.
Wishful thinking? I'll be happy to see Susan and Derek, with or without guests.

Currently, the duo is rehearsing new material down in their Jacksonville home with a rotating cast of fellow musicians and friends. Each of the couple’s upcoming shows will feature a different set of players. As of now, Trucks and Tedeschi have confirmed appearances at the Wanee Music Festival, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Mountain Jam. The musicians will also both appear at John Bell’s 11th Annual Hannah’s Buddies Charity Classic at Orlando, FL’s House of Blues on February 20.

MUSIC ; New England finally lands a rock fest

After years of being the only major region of the country without a rock festival, New England gets a possible answer to Bonnaroo with the inaugural Nateva Music & Camping Festival. The Fourth of July weekend festival will accommodate 15,000 people in Oxford, Maine - two-hours north of Boston. Headliners include the Flaming Lips and the Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band.
