Sorry to rain on the parade, but you should enjoy a proper arse kicking by our number 1s next week, instead of Curtis Painter and the 'B' team.

COLTS!!

The Jets played the so called hottest team in the NFL and won on the road. I think the Colts should be concerned about a 'Cinderella' team coming to play them at home.

Ryan follows the Parcells credo. Make it work on both sides of the line - that's the key. QB's, runners, receivers are interchangeable

Good luck to them. If they play D the way they played today they will have a punchers chance to beat the Colts. Not easy to beat Peyton though. He's one of the best if not the best against the blitz! I'll be pulling for the Jets all the way!

they haven't made it to the division finals in about 12 seasons. we are proud they got this far when in all honesty the jets should have never made the playoffs

I'm not a Jets fan, but it's always fun to see the underdog win! I was pulling for them and I'm glad they won. I hope they do go all the way, even though I have my doubts.

Just was doing cartwheel after cartwheel - had no voice by the end of the game, and was giddy as giddy could be!

To ALL the naysayers - PPPPFFFFTTTTTT (I really would say a lot more, but I'm being somewhat of a lady, which is questionable as a die-hard JETS fan! )

Here we come - yes we can, oh yes.....WE CAN!

The Jets fans have every right to be proud, they weren't even supposed to make the playoffs, now there playing in the AFC finals.

The Colts have won only one superbowl with Peyton and how many playoff games have they choked because of a lack of defense? The Jets could win 10 - 7 or they could lose 27 - 3, either way they had a great and exciting season, I wish them luck.

The Chargers likely put up the biggest choke job I've ever witnessed. I've thunk if for years, but Philip Rivers justified my thinking yesterday that San Diego may have made a big, big mistake in letting Drew Brees go. Brees has one or two games left to prove me wrong (or right). I know Rivers interception in the third quarter was only one play, problem it is it was THE game turning play. A receiver with his backed turned to you with three defenders around him? NO, no, championship caliber quarterbacks do not make that throw. And how about Nate Kaeding? 20 consecutive field goals made going into this game, only three misses all year, and he misses THREE? I'll give him the 57 yarder, very few kickers make that one. I'd also let him go based on this one game. You can't do it in the clutch, what good are you?

Could not agree more!. You play the regular season for games like this, if you don't perform here, in the playoffs, what good are you. Same goes for Ladanian Tomlinson. Lost a step?..how about TWO steps? Chargers first play from scrimmage, L.T. turns the corner, gets five yards and steps..... out of bounds. IT'S THE PLAYOFFS!... put your shoulder into someone!... There's no tomorrow... How about all of the "False start" penalties?.. How about Shawn Phillips head butting that guy on a 3rd and 7?...FIFTEEN yard penalty, 1st down in the red zone...The list of self-inflicted wounds is endless. In most sports cities..a lot of these players would be gone. Not in San Diego, ...as Jim Rome puts it.. "We're a Nice sports town, with nice people"...

Kaeding? gone

Tomlinson?..traded

Norv Turner?.. If I'm the owner, I've already been on the phone w/Bill Cowher

And I agree... Rivers throws like a Girl

Actually, I was STUNNED today to learn that the NFL is considering a forfeit to the Chargers.

It appears that the Jets tried to sneak an extra player on the field, putting them one over the limit of 53....

THIS GUY..

The Jets had the #1 defense for a reason

Otie, didn't mean to knock the Jets' defense, which was excellent. I hear what you're saying, and you are spot on. Fact remains, though, defense does not cause a usually reliable kicker to shank two makeable field goals.

There's only one LT and he wore #56, and he never sulked during a game sitting on the bench by himself.

While I would still pick the Colts to win, they do seem dangerously one-dimensional. I like Peyton Manning but I will be cheering for the Jets since my Giants slept through the second half of the season. If you think San Diego choked yesterday, please go back and watch the last two Giants games of the season.
On second thought, don't watch them. Just take my word for it.

the field goal kicker did not matter in this game. It gets tiring to blame the guy-he didnt lose the game. The Jets physically kicked the crap out of SD. The Jets would never have let SD score at end were they protecting a 3 or 4 point lead. SD was physically beaten badly in the game. Neither Cincy or SD could take the punishment the Jets were delivering. If Indy does not get up quickly, by the second half it will again be a real dog fight. If the Jets hang in for the first quarter and a half, they are very dangerous. Their offensive line is very physical and their D is quick and tackles very well. They have gotten it together late in the season and I think will give Indy a good game.

That certainly makes a LOT of sense to me.
