i got right in and asked for best and got crappy orch (row r way off to side) then went in for lowest price and got row d balc seat 12 (just off the center) and bought that.

i did pull up row b lower loge but it was like $170 with the charges and was far to the right. not worth it imo.

so i got all 4 weekend shows all up in the balc, 3 row d and 1 row b (2 center, 2 sligitly right center

That is what is good and bad....if you don't pay up now, and you want to get decent tickets, you end up in back of orchestra or in upper loge. Then week before show these go out to general public.

If this were their farewell tour...maybe. But this is a complete sham.

To answer question Upper loge row J Friday night 3/19...to go along with UL ON 3/13 row b AND 3/16 row d.

So basically same seats all 3 nights.

homer i agree with you totally. this is a sham. especially for people who have to travel and fly, book hotels and such. to do all that and then wait for rereleases, and then be at the pc when they do. it really stinks. thats why i buy the cheapest seats and go to as many shows as i can. got fri/sat both weekends.

i wont pay any more than minimum.

and I think the front loge should have been $100. no reason these seats should be the same price as the first 10 rows.

in addition, i think it is terrible that after leaving the expensive confines of the msg-owned beacon that they would actually RAISE the average ticket price.

and if that isnt bad enough they institute the VIP seating.

too greedy IMO.

cheap seats for me forever...

I love derek and i have to see him as many times as I can afford and if I can go 6 times for $400 thats ok with me.

but $525 for 1 seat? That's obscene.

even if i were rich i would never pay it.

Is there an accurate seating chart somewhere with seat numbers?
TM is offering me Upper Lodge row D seat 124, but I have no clue if 124 is center or what ?
I found a PDF seating chart but there is no seat 124 anywhere.

seats 100-128 in the Lower loge, upper loge and balcony are all dead cednter.

see the ticketmaster seating chart for the correct seat numbers.

the seating chart with the numbers is great but has incorrect center numbers upstairs

have you ever been to the united palace? the front lodge is almost right over the stage. if you're toward the rear of the orchestra it looks like you're watching a concert from one end of the queens-midtown tunnel to the other.

upper lodge is ok, i'd rather sit there than the in the rear 1/3 of the orch. the acoustics get kind of echoie back there (rear orch), plus the view is sheatie. in my opinion, i'd rather sit up at the top of the balcony than in the back of the orchestra. even balcony seats are decent, a 3000 seat venue is small, and you don't get that tunnel vision up in the balc.

check this out, you might get a better idea of what it looks like

On Friday the 22nd I picked up row NN for the first night, dead center. I think they are slowly dribbling them out and patience will be rewarded (doesn't help those who have to travel, I don't).

Trust me, PLENTY of great center section orchestra seats will hit the market over time...

...nowadays ticketsux sells these things like the arilines, assigns 8-10 crappy seats for every 1-2 good seats.
