From last night Atlantic City show, Gregg sang two new songs, he noted that he wrote one song with Warren Haynes, can't wait to hear it

"Just Another Rider" is a perfect song for Gregg to sing! Just perfect!

I have a feeling this new CD will be outstanding.
I saw two of his shows last week and the two
new songs from his CD were wonderful.
I can't wait to get this CD!

Totally digging Floating Bridge (the other new song the GAF played). Guess we'll have to wait until the Spring to hear the rest.

Is Gregg writing these songs or is this album in the "I'm No Angel" vibe where they're taking from published songwriters for him to record??

Some originals, mostly ancient blues tunes like "Floating Bridge."

In an interview, Gregg said a lot of the songs were in the public domain and they didn't
even have all the lyrics, so they made up parts of them. Floating Bridge is my favorite.
It is an old spritual in the public domain. Some of the songs are from the 1920's.
This CD will be dynamite, IMO.

Personally I'd kind of like to hear him write..........Lord knows the reflection that guy could come up with on the life he's lived.

and with T-Bone Burnett producing and Dr. John on piano...you know it's gonna be great! Gregg sounded better last Friday night in Richmond than I have heard him in years, and I can't wait to find out who else they brought in to play on this recording..

I'm surprised the road band isn't on it. Listening to Jerry Jemmott was a highlight of show I saw and Bruce Katz was fantastic too. They were all top notch. I'm hoping Gregg played a lot of acoustic guitar on the new record. I love his playing and chording choices.
