Been signed up for years. Usually get the emails, but sometimes a day late for some reason. Just wondering if anyone else is waiting for the presale info.

Lana said something elsewhere about emails getting bounced for folks with Yahoo accounts. Could that be case for you?

Nope. Hotmail. Don't appear to be having issues with my email other than I didn't get this one.

I didn't get the email either, but got the one within the past week re: Gregg's tour.

If you didn't get the March Madness peach-o-gram, log into your account and follow the "Newsletter" link under "Community" on the left side of this page and you should be able to see it.

I'm locked an loaded for 8:00pm!

I didn't get mine, either, and I use Hotmail. Whatever. Email can suck sometimes.

Check the News link under Newsletters and you should find it. I don't know the exact location, but it's here somewhere...

Nope, didn't get it. I don't think I ever have gotten one honestly. I had changed my email to hotmail a few years back, but I never receive any notifications ever

If you are logged in, you can read the peach-o-gram on this site. Go to Newsletters on the left column. Then click on read past peach-o-grams. There it is.

And don't fret about the pre-sale. You actually have better odds during the regular sale, in my experience over the last few years.

Searching it out on the site is not the same as getting it in a timely manner. Bad omen---train wreck approaching?

I didn't get it, either! Please ... help me! I don't want to get painted out again like I did last year!

So you're saying there's no need for a presale.

My mistake (or misfortune) last year was that I was out of town during the pre-sale. I tried my luck on the general sale. That's when the mysterious automatic roll-over from TicketMaster to TicketsNow started happening.

To iterate - I was on-line the VERY SECOND that the general tickets went on sale. I chose some moderately priced (around $72.00) balcony tickets. I clicked on BUY NOW and suddenly found myself on the TicketsNow site (legal SCALPER operation of TicketMaster) where the price had magically gone up to something like $142.00.

Being a very hard-headed man of principle I decided that I was not going to be a victim of such bovine excrement. I did not buy the tickets, I did not go to the Beacon and I did not subscribe to Moogis. I will point out that I have been a DIE-HARD fan of the band since 1972 and that I actually saw the original line-up and the 5-Man Band versions of the group. I lost count of the number of ABB shows that I've attended somewhere after the 50 mark.

At the same time an artist who seemed to actually care about fans (one Mr. Bruce Springsteen) came forward and chastised TicketMaster for similar actions done to HIS fans. The press even singled out artists who KNOWINGLY participated with TicletMaster/TicketsNow (Neil Diamond, for one). Some how, the Allman Brother's Band was spared being called out.

Were the Allman Brother's Band in cahoots with TicketMaster/TicketsNow? We'll never know. The only attention to this incident was Butch suggesting that buying tickets from scalpers was not a good thing. One wonders how or even if TicketMaster could have done such a thing WITHOUT the knowing involvement and participation of the artists. Nobody from the ABB camp (to my knowledge) ever made a satisfying comment on whether they were actively involved in such a scheme. I'd still like to know.

Obviously, we know the mechanism exists for this to happen. We just don't have a smoking gun or a confession from the ABB camp, and probably never will.

But I think we all know what is happening don't we?

Me thinks I need to get away from Hotmail.

I have Hotmail and have not had any problems recently other than with this email. Based on my personal experiences with other ABB emails, I don't think the problem is with Hotmail.

I posted a thread but no one here seems aware that there are amex presales that started this morning. I got 3 different night of shows in the front 6 rows and my brother got 3 more nights in the front 3 rows. Don't know why people always have this insistence that there are not great seats in presales, there often is.
