Butch's solution is very clear and it was not done last year and it seems they are making the same mistake. Give the option for buying into single shows. You could put up various packages or combinations. Many would pay for a single night but the vast majority with not shell out over $150 for this. Butch claims to have lost money last year to a new plan is a must. It seems like the plan created is to simply raise the price. Not a sound business move in my opinion as it goes on the belief that people will pay more for less. That spells disaster for any business. Giving people options and catering to the customer are much better solutions.

Wish them well. Great idea that is not being properly executed for long term success or even short term gain.

Butch has morons on his team. Too bad. I really did enjoy MOOGIS last year.

Unlike me, my brother is reupping this year. Although he has seen the ABB in each of five decades (only four for me, missed 1969), he saw them on MOOGIS as much in three weeks last year as in those forty plus years. There simply isn't that strong of a desire this year after being saturated with 15 shows last year.
Would love to be able to purchase a single show.

MOOGIS is a fantastic deal. It would cost most of us double
the $150 subscription fee for a ticket, hotel room, travel, etc.... FOR ONE SHOW.
This is the best thing going if you are an ABB fan.
Thanks again Butch!

Like comparing apples & oranges - IMO

Watching TV is not the same as being there in person
(not even close - to me anyway)

I admit waiting til the last minute to re-up, but we've finally concluded we can only do one show and we'll watch the rest on Moogis. The reason is simple: cost. I end up buying tickets for my daughter and son-in-law, his Dad and girlfriend and another dear friend and soon I'm up to almost a grand for one show.
This year I got opening night, orchestra, 4 seats--$641.05. The extra pair goes to his Dad and girlfriend who are very good friends as part of their wedding gift(April 16).

We did have a couple of issues with lost connections and frozen screens last year(out on LI with Cablevision as my internet provider) but my son hooked us up so we can watch the shows on our living room flat screen thru our audio system. I don't think the cable cost that much and we watch stuff off the internet on TV all the time, so it's more than worth whatever we paid for it.

50 days to go!

T
