What do you think? I forget what I paid last year - it may have been 85 plus 15 for convenience. I hope it does not go much above that -

I feel like i paid well over $100 for second tier orchestra seats? $120 is ringing a bell for some reason.
Hoping they are a little cheaper this year considering it isn't the "40th ann. tour"

I can't see them lowering prices. As someone else said here, moving uptown may keep the run at 8 (bad economy, less desireable location) If Gregg's 18 quote is to be believed they have 2 more weeks they can add on. I'd be surprised if they aded more than 5 more shows and they may not do that.

Time will tell - the "Single Monkey" Gregg mentioned may be hawking some Moogis subscriptions if these 8 are it.

Last year at the Beak the first ten rows orchestra were $150. Past the tenth they were $100.

Why would tickets get cheaper a year later?

Keep in mind that Neil Young played there at $175 at top price (maybe more?).
Also Van Morrison was $250 at top price.

We're gonna' be paying for a newly refurbished theater.
I wouldn't be surprised seeing top price at $175 (or more).

What kills me about Tickemaster is they have nothing listed now. Hours before the on-sale. I think last year 2 hrs before it came up but no prices. So, we have no idea until we buy them how much they are . Total bull sh*t

Has anyone ever gotten 4 ORCH seats together for presale or does presale only do pairs of tickets? I've gotten two seats before but never been able to pull 4 ORCH together.

And last year I remember paying $150 for Orch seats up front. It was $120 for the back half Orch seats. Throw in a $100 bucks worth of the shooter size beers they sell and it's quite and expensive night...but I'll gladly pay as long as they keep on playing!

If my somewhat shaky memory is right, last yr was $150-$80. I wouldn't plan on this yr being any cheaper. I'm thinking a little more, hopefully I'm wrong. 2 tickets, 2 shows, 2 nights partying in NYC.....WOW.

It's the ABB. Initial 8 will sell quickly, shows will be added. I'd bet on it. What you won't get is as much scalper traffic since less people wll Just Show Up.

Why would they go to the Wellmont? The United Palace is reserved for the Allmans at least through the 27th.

Is Gregg talking about renting a bar because there's no bar or alcohol served in the Palace or just because of the area?

I know there is beer/wine in UPT (can't remember if there is hard liquor) Just because of the area.

i wonder if that price range is for the packages? I have a feeling it is just for the tickets and the packages are greater than $150

I have a feeling unless you buy the "packages" you will not be sitting anywhere near front-center orchestra or loge. Just a guess, but fans without mondo-bucks usually get hosed in these package deals. Probably can wait a month or so and the package seats that aren't purchased will be released to the public. The Mule packages are really pricey. I'm thinking the ABB prices will be MORE.

I guess its the bands ways to beat the scalpers, get the best seats in the house for what you would pay a scalper for but get some incentives on top of it... it makes sense. The "platinum packages" has some cool stuff like the bar service and the awesome seats...unfortunately i am sure it is out of my price range.
The other two? not so much... and i am sure they are out of my price range also.
I'd rather try to beat the scalpers on ticketmaster then pay inflated prices for decent seats and get some cheap memorabilia in return to justify the gauge.
Just my opinion on the situation.

It's not a way to BEAT the scalpers, but a way to JOIN them. Throw in some low cost "perks", like a laminate and a "merch" item and you can sell above face... Mule did this for the NYE show.
