They aren't all good for the teams I root for, but here are my Top Ten Most Memorable Sporting Events I've attended:

1 - Red Sox vs Angels, Fenway Park 8/27/1987 – My first baseball game - Sox win 4-3 in 12 innings.

2 - Red Sox vs Angels, Fenway Park 10/6/2004 – Big Papi ends the game & division series with a walk off homer

3 - Ray Bourque Night, Fleet Center 10/4/2001 – Boston Bruins retire Bourque’s #77

4 - Bruins vs Whalers, Boston Garden 4/5/1991 – Cam Neely scores the last 3 goals to give the B’s a 4-3 win in game 2 of the playoffs.

5 - Bruins vs Maple Leafs, Maple Leaf Gardens 1/9/1999 – Leafs win last Bruins game at Maple Leaf Gardens 6-3

6 - NY Giants vs Minnesota Vikings, Giants Stadium 1/14/2001 – Giants win NFC Championship Game 41-0

7 - Mariners vs Indians, Seattle Kingdome 5/2/1996 – My first game outside of Fenway Park. The game was suspended due an earthquake during the 7th inning. The game was finished the next day.

8 - 3 day marathon in April 2004:
THU, Fleet Center 4/8/2004 – 2 College Hockey Frozen Four semi final games
FRI Day, Fenway Park 4/9/2004 – Opening day for Red Sox
FRI Night, Fleet Center 4/9/2004 – Bruins vs. Montreal playoff game
Sat, Fleet Center 4/10/2004 – Frozen Four Final

9 - NYG vs Philadelphia Eagles, Giants Stadium 11/18/1978 – Pisarcik fumbles the handoff to Csonka, Herm Edwards picks it up and returns for a TD to win game for the Eagles 19-17

10 – Mets vs Yankees, Shea Stadium 10/26/2000 – World Series Game 5, Yankees win series with a 4-2 win (Yep, I’m a Sox fan and the Yankee’s won the series that night, but it’s probably the only world series game I’ll ever go to)
