I'll be sitting around eying the kids struggle to stay awake
awaiting the ball to drop, champagne for the wife and I chilling,
watching a movie.

Unless Syfy has the "Twilight Zone" marathon on again ...

Go to dinner early. It's my birthday, so Okeechobee Steak House will give me a free dinner. Best steak house in these parts, IMO.

Come home, miss the late traffic.

Hope for clear skies to see the Blue Moon!

Watch the ball drop in NYC.

Ruthie and Helen have NYE birthdays! One year Helen and I had front row at the Fox for Soul Stew. I think Ruthie should be up here in RI in the front row with me tomorrow night!

Happy Birthday

I usually attend an annual party/jam session at a friends house but this year I'm oncall so I'll be sitting at home chilling (hoping for a SLOW work night ). Got some wine chilling in the fridge and maybe rent some movies. NY day I'll be cleaning house and doing prep work for a dinner party I'm having on Saturday for 13 friends and family.

And since we're discussing New Year's ...

wishing everybody here a safe NYE and much happiness and of course lot's of music and dancing in 2010!

A quiet night at home is planned for NYE. My birthday is January 2, going to see Bob Margolin then.

Two of my favorites with birthdays on NYE. Happy birthday Ruth and Helen, and I'll very much miss celebrating with Helen like the last two years. And everyone else who did the Soul Stew show.

I have nothing this year. I might arrange my sock drawer whilst wearing the Nancy necklace (it still works!). Happy new year all!

Thank you. I know she's blessed with a wonderful mother. It's the fathering part I'm concerned about. I grew up with only brothers so I hardly even know what little girls are all about!

Going to see Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam at the World Cafe Live in Philly with my sweetie and Front Row Al and Naomi. Tony and I are staying overnight in the city, then we hope to catch the Mummer's strut up Broad Street on NY day.

Happy Birthday to Helen and Ruthie.

Congrats to Funkyfan and wife! Just in time for the tax deduction!
