The Paradise Theater looks cool. It's in the Bronx.

He said he’s looking forward to the band’s annual series in New York City, especially because this year will be the 20th edition. Previously, the Allman Brothers Band did 12 to 15 shows in the spring at the Beacon Theater. But that venue has been sold and is no longer available. Instead, the band will play the Paradise in upper Manhattan, and will do 18 shows.

T-Bone Burnett produced it. That's a compliment, of sorts, in that T-Bone's kinda exclusive now.

I really can't wait to hear it.

Hope Gregg will mix in some of the new songs in his December / January shows expanding the current set list.

Anybody have any detail on the CD other than what's in the paragraph from the article?

It does sound like a few new songs will be in the mix when the tour resumes:

<<But first up is Westhampton Beach. The playlist will include, he said, “A few songs from the new record that’s still got to be learned. We’ll be fine. See, unlike the Brothers, I always like to get to a place a day early and rehearse my band anywhere from three to eight hours.”>>

You haven't been paying attention...

Stop by Gregory's Forum more often.

Hey Bee,
Well we heard about the butt-scraping motorcycle incident.
I don't remember the finger incident.
Did Gregg give somebody the finger? and get caught on camera? LOL

Did I miss an announcement?

Not quite, Ruthie. Some of the nerves in the neck go down to the hands, thus if you pinch a nerve in the neck you will get pain, numbness, and/or tingling in the fingers (or if it is a different nerve, you could have chronic headaches). The same thing as if you pinch a nerve in your lower back in the right (or wrong) spot and have pain all the way down your leg (sciatica). Either way, OUCH!

I was hoping for a different answer! LOL

And I guess I need to read the entire article too.

People from Maine to Virginia have been so good to us, but especially the audience in New York.”

You know I thought we were good to them in Florida too!

The Paradise Theatre in the Bronx? Won't be the same as the Beacon on many levels. Mainly because the Beacon Hotel was just as much a part of the scene as anything else. Where does one stay in the Bronx?
