I would be very interested in suggestions for things to do around here. I have been working to 4 in the morning every day down here this week and feel like I have no idea what to do during the day for my two days off. Any opinions will be warmly received. Thanks.

Peace~! Brian

There's the Texas State Aquarium. And the USS Lexington carrier.

At this time of year though, not a lot to do, I wouldn't have thought.

I was born and raised in Corpus Christi....AKA the sparkling city by the sea. It is a very beloved place for me.

Two places you must eat at are :

1) Kiko's Mexican 5514 Everhart (The FINEST Tex Mex ever) the enchiladas are legendary
2) Snoopy's at Padre Island ... (you watch the shrimp boats come in and you're eating the catch within hours) take S.P.I.D. (South Padre Island Drive) out of the city towards the water ..go over the the bridge and Snoopy's is under it.

Executive Surf Club is a cool little music venue and I love running my morning run on the sea wall downtown. Lotsa charm in this city.

Thanks Devon. We're staying right near both of those joints so I will definitely be spending my last two dinners in Corpus there. Peace~! Brian
