I certainly find it interesting that, although I was born in 1971, I have at least 17 of these in my music collection...probably at least 10 more 'new' albums than I'll buy this year...of which I'd guess less than 4 will be in the year's Top 100 sellers.

maybe I'm stuck in the past? Or maybe the popular present just sucks?

A few more from the Woodstock era:

Stand- Sly & The Family Stone
Johnny Winter- Johnny Winter
Second Winter- Johnny Winter
Hallelujah- Canned Heat
Keep On Moving- Paul Butterfield Blues Band
Richard P. Havens 1983- Richie Havens
Running Down The Road- Arlo Guthrie
With A Little Help From My Friends- Joe Cocker
Mountain- Leslie West (solo)
One Day At A Time- Joan Baez

Songs From A Room- Leonard Cohen

The Doobie Brothers' debut came out in 1970 so that should be scratched off the list.
