Hey all, I just bought tickets to this show (pretty good ones at that) and was wondering if anybody knew if anybody is planning on taping it.

You learned your lesson after Burlington, didn't you!!! LOL!!! The acoustics in the EGG are very nice. If you see a taper, get a card or email address from him (or her) before you leave the venue.

I will make sure to do that. I'm thinking about bringing my own small mini disk recorder just in case.

seems like shows from the egg always pop up, and i always see quite a few tapers there. Bought my tickets a week ago. wanted to make sure to catch the last dtb show for a year... has all the ingredients to be an epic one for sure. i was suprised that there was tickets still available.

Can't answer your question other than to say if you see any open rigs, ask the taper for an email address or other contact info.

Yeah, I'll definitely do that. Weather isn't looking to good for the drives in both directions.

By far the best DTB show I've been to, maybe even the best I've heard.

Set 1: Soul Serenade, Preachin' Blues, I Wish I Knew (How It Would Feel To Be Free), Get What You Deserve, Volunteered Slavery, Already Free, Yield Not To Temptation, Down In The Flood

Set 2: Leaving Trunk > 555 Lake (instrumental version), Sweet Inspiration, Young Funk, Home In Your Heart, Gonna Move > Key To The Highway, My Favorite Things, Joyful Noise

Encore: Anyday

absolutely amazing. band played for 3 hours!!!!!!! they were just on fire and did NOT want to stop playing. dereks last solo on anyday waas like 3 or 4 minutes, maybe longer. smoked the whole show. very good crowd, letting the band quiet things down multiple times without anyone yelling freebird or go cowboys (syracuse). i saw one rig set up there so we will see about a recording showing up....

best show i've been to or heard.

I'm in school, so I'll post a full review later, but in short it was AMAZING. Non-stop fire.
In regards to tapers, I got a pretty good sounding recording that I'm in the middle of splitting. There was one open rig at the top and there was also a guy in the row in front of me with mics on his hat.

The author of that article must have grabbed a setlist from Rico because they didn't actually play Mahjoun even though it was on the list.
The written set was:
Set 1:
Soul Serenade
Preachin' Blues
I Wish I Knew How
Get What You Deserve
Vol. Slavery
Alrady Free
Yield Not
Down In The Flood

Set 2:
Leavin' Trunk - 555 - (a word I can't read that looks like Hake)
Sweet Inspiration
Mahjoun
Done Got Over
Gonna Move
Key To The Highway
My Favorite Things
Joyful Noise

Encore:
For My Brother
Anyday

I'm not sure that having a new website means anything more than having a new website.
My guess is that no one really knows if they'll play together again or not.

Was there an opening act ? ... or, is that a fat-lady singing on that setlist?

Peace.
