LOL Yea - that's probably it ... the whole thing behind the disrespect and bemusement that's been shown her surely lies behind this. I heard that discussion jpb - nice job of taking that out of context and turning it into something entirely different.

How is this taken out of context? He was serious. If she wants to be taken seriously, she needs to start giving speeches at the CFR? Nothing out of context there. Just keep putting your head in the sand and don't look at the warning signs. The CFR runs the show and if you aren't in the "club", then you are going to get hammered by the media, and you have no chance. We will see if she sees the light and joins the evil empire or she stays independent and goes it alone. She really has no chance on her own, they will destroy her like they continue to do. They did the same thing to Ron Paul. If your not in the club, they will destroy you.

The true face of evil:

Well, for one thing you failed to mention all of the time spent discussing how she continually responds to BS in the media like her son-in-law and whether or not she was aware of her daughter and this guy having 'carnal knowledge' of each other and any of a number of meaningless topics that have absolutely nothing to do with this country and it's needs but which she has chosen to take to public forums. I believe what the gentleman said is if she wants to be taken seriously as a political contender she needs to put the aw-shucks gotcha persona away, stop whining about insignifcant BS, and actually make an attempt at intelligent and important discourse - the particular venue mentioned was just a throw away suggestion used as an example of something that might be appropriate for making said meaningful speech. Frankly quiting her job as governor to write her 'memoirs' seems to be a stupid move to me and says a lot about this person and her ability to handle herself in any position of power and about her priorities and what she considers important.

Exactly. So, she needs to speak at the CFR in order to be taken seriously and needs get on board and be a "team" player. Until then, the media will continue the attacks.

Or, policy-wise, she doesn't know what in the hell she is talking about or doing.

There's no way that could even be a possibility, huh?

Look at is this way...the Wall Street Journal has used a piece or two of hers when they think it's nifty to do so, but how do you think she'd fare if she actually applied to work there? Think they'd hire her?

Can you put those same standard to Obama being President? If you had seen only his resume, would you really vote for him?

You obviously didn't catch the Today show this morning.

The CFR runs the show, period. I guess what seems obvious to others is blind to some.

You have obviously chosen to hear what you want and apply it to your philosophy of conspiracy and imminent doom and I interpreted this discussion differently so we probably don't have anything further to discuss here...

I'm gonna let you pass
And I'll go last.
Then time will tell just who fell
And who's been left behind,
When you go your way and I go mine

or anyone else that isn't in the club that could make a serious run at the Presidency.

If anyone still thinks she's got a serious run at the Presidency I've got a bridge I'd like to sell them. As for Obama's qualifications for the office, when Palin is editor of the Harvard Law Review, when she knows the Constitution well enough to teach Constitutional Law, when she's been elected to the Senate.....then and only then will I even consider her in the same league as Obama.

Right now media whore isn't one of the better qualifications for the position....at least not that one.

Hmmm. Let's see. Magna Cum Laude at Harvard Law. President of Harvard Law Review. Professor of Constitutional Law at University of Chicago. Illinois State Senator and United States Senator.

vs.

5 stints at 4 different colleges to get a B.A. in Communications. Sportscaster in Anchorage. City councilwoman and mayor of a town of 5,400 people. Appointed to the Alaska Oil and Conservation Commission which she resigned from due to the "lack of ethics" by other fellow Republicans on the Commission. Elected to a governorship wrought with various scandals and ethical questions. Selected to be on ticket by John McCain for reasons still not clear. Resigned as governor of a state that has a smaller population than 19 different cities in America. Writes a book where she relentlessly skewers anyone that ever dared question her.

Hmmmm.

Yes, on resumes alone, I'd clearly vote for Barack Obama.

Say what you will about the woman, she is doing a bang up job of getting people to talk about her, and in turn, sell her book. I didn’t see it, but apparently Oprah asked her if she was put off that Oprah did not invite her on the show during the election. I sort of liked her answer, just because I dislike Oprah more than Palin. I don’t know why, I just think Oprah is full of bs. Palin said something like, “you are really not the center of my universe.”

If a law degree and an Ivy League background equated to success, then what the hell happened? We're already well represented in that area and the results have been pretty dismal.

The question was who would I vote for based on resume, so I compared the two.

Tell me how Sarah Palin could do better. Defend your conservative heroine.

It would be hard to do much worse...I think she would be more likely to put the most pressing problem, the economy, first - and actually cut waste from government and cut spending. Individuals and small businesses would have a much better chance of getting some actual tax relief. I believe she would put more trust in free enterprise capitalism to solve our economic problems than government solutions.

Actaully, I said to just look at Obama's resume'. That alone. The last election produced two of the worst candidates ever for POTUS. Both were horrible. Both are CFR members. Where was your choice? Palin is clearly not qualified to be POTUS, but either is Obama. He is a stooge for the CFR and runs nothing. He does what they tell him to do, nothing more and nothing less.

That is why it was so easy to predict the continued bankrupting of America and the escellation of the war in Afghanistan. Two things that Bush got hammered on by the left, but the left seem to want to give Obama a free pass on? Odd. There is no difference in policy because there has been no change in leadership.
