the only cure for these problems

is to start a new collection

the biggest regret i had i had 2 old ataris a coleco vision toons of games and an adapter
that would let me play atari games on coleco and a few cases of sports and non sports cards come up misssing along with some high end artist prints

I had a heck of a baseball card collection, then when I got into high school I decided this was beneath me and I was way too cool to continue such a nerdy hobby. Yup I tossed them. What a dumb ass.

I have something called "Wacky Packages", many of the card and the stickers from the 70's. These made a revival a while back.

This is what came in a package of Wacky Packages. You would get a puzzle piece, stickers and a flat piece of gum. I used to walk a half mile to buy these when I was in elementary school. Collecting these silly stickers was a high point of my youth.

Oh my God.

What a blast from the past. I'm sure my Mom threw all these away in one move or another.

I've have saved just about every concert ticket from about 1977 til now, also with the intention of doing something with them someday.

I collect metal tins. I put most of them in the attic a while back when a friend helped me empty out my living room to put down a new carpet. He said to me,"Gee, you have an awful lot of tins." When I realized there were over a hundred, I knew it was time to put them away. I now just have a few of my favorites on display, but I'll never get rid of all the ones in the attic. Some of them are worth upwards of $50 but most are worth only a coupla bucks.
