Were there very many shows in 2000 or 2001 with all three quitars players participating?
Saw Derek and Jimmy at Polaris in 2000 - great interplay between the two. I would love to pick up recording with all three partipating - any Instant Live that included the three, even if they are only guest appearances on a song or two?
thanks, you're a knowledgeable bunch here, I'll appreciate any insight anyone might be able to share

On the 2000 summer tour with Jimmy/Derek lineup, Mule guested at Toronto (7/30/2000) and Scranton, PA (8/6/00). They did two shows with Warren subbing for Derek, so a Warren/Jimmy lineup, at the One for Woody show (9/21/00) and the Christmas Jam that year (12/21/00). Most of the Christmas Jam set is available commercially as "Warren Haynes Presents: The Benefit Concert Vol. 2."

Since Warren took over for Jimmy in 2001, Jimmy has sat in with the band a handful of times. 8/5/01 in Atlanta. 9/20/02 in Atlanta. I'm sure many other times, but not sure how many of those are available as Instant Lives/Munck Music releases. You can search the database though. Jimmy did sit in this year at the Beacon, and that's available at abblive.com for download or commercially at hittinthenote.com.

Thanks Zambi, I appreciate it. I've since found the Blossom show near Cleveland on 2 July 2000, with Jimmy sitting in on Southbound.
I'l have to look for the two Atlanta shows you mentioned.
thanks again.

Well, Jimmy wouldn't be "sitting in" in 2000. It was his gig all summer filling Dickey's slot. He toured full time for about 4 months that summer into the early fall. Jimmy left after the summer tour in 2000 ended, and then Warren re-joined the band in 2001.

Actually, I don't think Southbound was in the repertoire on that tour, so you must be talking about a different year when perhaps Jimmy was sitting in with a Derek/Warren lineup of the band. Southbound has been a popular tune to have special guests sit in with the band since 2001 when they worked up the Brother & Sisters version of the song with Gregg singing it again.

He sat in during the Beach to Peach Run in 2001. I saw him on "Southbound" in Va Beach.

Derek sat in then with Phil and Friends (who closed) for a good part of Phil's set.
The Sugaree at the end with all three is over the top.

If my memory serves me correctly on one of the above mentioned Atlanta shows all 3 took a solo on Jessica!
