Me and my brother manitou (this is HtoHe) just came out of the Beacon for the 12th and we second that! right up there with the LAFE anniversary show in 06
everyone had shifted up several gears from the 10th - maybe an apt response to those who were marking that show so low on the boards earlier.
this was just completely awesome stuff, they'll need to look for the roof in Central Park they blew it so far off...

AGREED! Digesting it stil. Unreal. Some nights just seem out of this world, man.
if you told me beforehand, that this would be the show that it was, and it cost $500, i would probably have to say yes, and fork it over. That SHOULD have been the value of tonights show. Wow. And they didnt even need the Phish fellas. Would been AOK with just Buddy. Great.

Holy $hit!!! Just my two cents, but that show goes straight to my top four or five out of fifty plus. 'The Sky Is Crying' with Buddy was worth the price of admission itself. The interplay between Warren, Buddy and Derek was absolutely amazing. At one point Warren and Buddy had one of those chill up your spine moments and they both had smiles from ear to ear. I thought the band was as tight as can be tonight, I mean last night. LOL! We got the 'Little Martha' opening which was very cool. 'Southbound' was off the hooks.

The only miscue I noticed all night was Gregg coming in too early during 'You Don't Love Me'. It was a natural mistake as he is used to coming in after two solos instead of three. His voice is as strong as I have ever heard and he was very animated. Mitzi would have passed out during the first set with Gregg letting his hair down.

Both Warren and Derek were on fire from beginning to end and were both obviously having a blast, especially with Buddy. Then the ending run of 'IMOER', Dreams, Jessica, and 'Statesboro' were awesome IMO!!!!! WHAT JAMMING GUITAR WORK!!!!!

Not a good show IMO, a great show IMO. I wasn't there for opening night but was blown away by it on Moogis. This show to me was just as good, but like I said I was not at Monday's show. I think whoever said that last night's show was flat is crazy! The crowd was absolutely bonkers, tons of energy and the band was feeding off it. To me it felt more like a Saturday show.

My only disappointment was with Trey. He wasn't bad, but nothing special and a bit underwhelming after Buddy. I don't think he brought his A game to the table which is something you better have when you take the stage with Warren and Derek. Page on the other hand was very impressive on the piano.

Also great meeting Eileen1 and nypeachhead. We were BSing about the first set and didn't realize the Brothers were already into 'I Know You Rider' on stage. LOL! We then scrambled back to our seats.

Wow! Congratulations Eileen, Dave, Pete, Effie, and everyone else who was in the house. Sounds like a barn burner! The BUddy Guy sit-in to close out set 1 sounds spectacular, and I'm always hoping for a Jessica, but to get a Jessica and a Dreams... WOW!

Was it a Derek or a Warren night on Dreams?

That show was right in my ABB sweet spot! When they started BHW, I was thinking it was too bad they were already repeating a song, then I heard it. The Other One jam was cosmic! Buddy was fantastic and I thought Trey and Page at least enhanced the songs they played on. Page may not be Chuck, but very nice to get some key work like that.

Liked the Rider very much, then Liz Reed. I'll go ahead and say that's the best one I ever heard. I always welcome that song and this was other worldly. Dreams is even more a favorite, and it was good, but that Liz was a hard act to follow.

You could see Warren mouthing the Blues is Alright to Gregg before they went into that at the end of S'boro. It was like they didn't want it to end, and neither did I!

And I got my Jabuma, only 4 min worth, but for me it ensured this was an ultimate show. I am very jealous of those two stoner dudes they showed on Moogis at the break, this must have blown their minds!

Not a big Trey fan either, but he did step up last night. The piano player, Page something was great. No Chuck but fantastic. The room exuded excellence, and any of you that were there were saw something special. For those of us that watched, I have neer felt like I had been there more watching on Moogis. Still buzzing!

Page Mcconnell from Phish. They were both real good and turned way up this time. Much better then last time they were on stage at the Beacon. From everyone I talked to who went to the Hampton Phish shows they all said Page was the highlight all weekend.

Thought the show started out good then as soon as Buddy hit the stage it took it to a whole other level and never looked back. Buddy just ripped up the stage and then the second set was just at a level that was non stop musical madness. Rider, Liz read, Dreams Statesboro, "Blues is allright" just awesome stuff. Many more to go whoo hooo!!!

I was at this show. When the schedule comes out, I go to my calendar and see what dates I can make and pick a couple. Man I am glad I picked Thursday night. Dreams, Liz Reed, Statesboro Blues and Southbound in one show? Add a ripping Buddy Guy "The Sky is Crying," and a kick ass "I know You Rider?" I don't really know what to say?
