Hey Everyone! Just wanted to share some pics I have taken over past few years. I have had the pleasure of talking with Dan a few times after shows and he is a great guy and always class act!!

Too bad that lineup didn't last beyond 2005. One of the best players dickey has had in great southern. Collector's 1 kicks ass.

Pretty sure I have the date correct on this. May 15, 1979 @ The Fabulous Forum in Los Angeles.

"Statesboro Blues".. Dickey was playing slide and broke a string, we were sitting close enough to the stage to see Dickey flash a look to Dangerous Dan as if to say .."Take it!".. I remember Dan Stepping up and playing the opening bars while Dickey got a different guitar.

Thanks Dan

Here's another. The Roxy Show in may of 1977. To this day, one of the sweetest Dan Toler solos I've ever witnessed is on "Jessica" from that show....

The Roxy is still a very cool little place. I haven't been there in a while, but I remember the stage being off to the right of a rectangular shaped room, with the seats off to the far left being on a riser of sorts...They packed you in there too. The usher would look at you and inquire.."How many?"... then lead you to a row of tables where you think to yourself "no way" ..but then they squweeze you in there. Maybe..450 people...

Thanks Dangerous Dan..

I was at one of Dickey's shows in 2005 and Dickey broke a string during his solo on Jessica and Dan slid seamlessly into the lead as Dickey got another guitar. It was really cool to see and they didn't miss a step! I enjoyed Dan's playing much better in 2000's than his last run with ABB. His playing really evolved and he seemed much more his own player if that makes any sense.
