Thinking of my friend John Bailey today on his birthday.John was one of the best friends I've made in this life and we saw our first ABB show together in '72, spent hours & hours & hours listening to LAFE, rockin' on the road with the band he managed and generally living large. John was one of those charismatic, larger than life types and it was never dull hanging with him. Happy Birthday my man.

After his death, we had a couple of big blow outs and raised a pile of dough to buy a memorial for him.We ended up putting a flagpole and plaque in a beautiful rose garden located within a huge city park.30+ years later,I now live within blocks of that park and every night when I take the dogs out we stop by and visit with John at his memorial.
EAPFP.

Jack, what a beautiful memory to your friend. I'm sure John is smiling down on his buddies that honored him so wonderfully.

Today marks 33 years since John's unfortunate accident. Went to see another tour opening night with ABB on Tuesday and was thinking of John and those days....Miss ya Bro.
