Here is a 64Kbs version of this interview....

http://inthejourney.com/temp/concert/DT_Interview.mp3

I also have it in FLAC (I recorded straight to WAV)... but being it's streamed, the above version is plenty...

Thanks, rosshmusic, for putting that out there. I enjoyed hearing Derek talk about the eastern influences of his music some. Of course, it was also a real treat to hear them talk about Radio DTB, too.

The thing about the interview that surprised me most is how he can remember the names of all those Indian musicians he was playing with. He rattled off a bunch of names, the likes of which I've never heard, like they were his family. Me?...I'll forget your name 5 seconds after we're introduced, lol. Then I'll spend the next 10 minutes of our conversation pretending to pay attention to you while I try and figure it out!

Some weeks later now... I would just like to thank this forum and the HTW website for the great support and feedback of my latest Derek Trucks interview. Posting the streaming mp3 on www.dgold.info/radio turned out to be a popular idea, as did linking up with another podcaster http://www.radiodtb.com -- I really appreciate how y'all responded and helped circulate this.

@Joyful Noise, yes I am the interviewer, of D.T. and also the Codetalkers in Fayetteville, (Col. Bruce and BLR came up to the radio studio, it is also posted in mp3 on my radio webcast page... They played Jennings Rose acoustic with-cell-phone added)
