How was that for a Triple Axe Attack, kinda reminded me of Marshall Tucker, Skynyrd and the Allmans all at once. This is music at it's best.

This sure was one Awesome tribute to Duane tonight.

Thank God this Moogis runs until the end of Sept. , cause if this euphoria ended after I walked out the Beacon on the 28th I do believe I'd be clinically depressed on Sun the 29th

My sig refers to life in general, i.e. roll with the punches ...

But if brofan isn't getting high off Moogis, then ... he SHOULD!

Tonight was unheard of...the jam out of WDLGTBSS was stanky as funk. Way to go Butchie on the innovation Bro-bot!

It would seem hard to believe that he'd be back again tomorrow after that set. Unless the ABB breaks Beacon tradition and replays the set tomorrow night for the Friday crowd..Unbelievable! What a tribute to Duane!! Those songs from that record..so emotional and passionate. To put EC up there with this talent and let them tear into those tunes......bliss.

I see them playing a different first set and then a similar second set with Clapton. Probably switch out Dreams for another ABB song. Maybe switch out a D&D song for a Clapton tune but I won't be surprised if the Clapton portion is really similar to tonight's.

No complaints here.

I just got back a little while ago. Without question the greatest ABB show I have ever attended and Clapton's appearance though historical was only the beginning of the reason why. I will write more about it tomorrow. Wow. I can't believe its not even the second weekend yet.

I wouldn't mind hearing a Toy Caldwell-Marshall Tucker song this week. I'm not what the hell the connection would be, but it'd be fun.

They don't have to play the same songs two nights in a row. After all the ABB have played the following songs, Smokestack Lightning, Born Under A Bad Sign, Spoonful, Stormy Monday, that Clapton has also played. Throw in Have You Ever Loved A Woman and you have a blues set and keep tradition alive. :-)
