It still is kind of shocking when we find out that she or her husband were actually telling the truth. If they were in my house I would count the silverware before they left.

I still hope she gets better soon, even though she makes me barf.

Nobody has stated where her blood clot is or how it is related to the concussion. Only think that would be related directly is a sub-dural hematoma like Reagan had after falling off a horse; and surgery is how that is treated

so in my opinion like 9/11 happening when Gary Condit was being investigated for Chandra Levy going missing in Washington, this is just fortuitous timing for non related events.

She should take up a hobby because she will be at home in 2016. She is old toast.

Chris Christie would smoke her in every debate they had if he was barely awake. He is the next President of the country.

Just another delusional non reality based rant originating from within the Republican bubble.

My sportsbook has the current odds for the next Presidential election in this order...

Hillary Clinton 6:1
Jeb Bush 9:1
Marco Rubio 11:1

Christie is a little further down the list at 16:1

if we put politics aside more often and had a little more compassion for one another, we'd probably be in better shape, individually and as a whole.

hope she gets better.

If its a matter of her staying healthy or running for president one day, I'd rather she'd just stay healthy. She's earned a retirement if she wants it.

Actually he is Govenor in of a state that is very democratic. Most people in the metro area, including NYC like him. He is very popular. He knows how to reach across party lines for what is best for the people.

Weeks before the last Presidential election he was man enough to come out numerous times and thank Obama for his response to the damage caused by Sandy. It was a feather in the cap for the President.

So no, it is not a "non reality based rant" as you stated. Chris Christie is a very popular politician. I have never been a Republican nor a Democrat either.

The feather in the cap you referred to was a symbiotic relationship between Obama & CC. The governor equally benefited from his good governance & working alongside the president in a time when partisan politics would have served no one.

CC seems like more of a centrist then the usual set of extremists that have been leading the the GOP as of late. As for his future as a possible presidential candidate, I suspect he's smart enough and got the balls to stand up to the far right ideologues of his party - that faction that causes the party to lose elections. This is something that Romney couldn't do. He chummed up and ran as a "severely conservative candidate" falling in line like a good little player. And look where it got him.

It got him to where we all benefit.

Still in the private sector.

I'm not so sure CC is the "centrist" that you crack him up to be. He's a tax cutter, spending reformer, budget balancer, and takes on unions. The difference between Christie and Romney is Chris doesn't need to be "coached up" to appear conservative, as it flows from him naturally much like Rubio. The problem for Romney was he attempted to sell his "severe conservatism" and people not buying.

The right was calling for Christie's head when he dared to speak well of Obama's hurricane efforts. We will see if that ire lasts.

I'm starting to think Hillary might really be done. She looks very fatigued in recent photos, and after spending the last 20 years in the pressure cooker of big-time politics, she may be ready for a well-deserved retirement. If 4 years as Secretary of State aged her that much, can she handle being President for 4-8 years?

We'll see how she feels in a couple of years from now. Maybe some time off will do her some good. If she is up to the challenge, she could practically sleepwalk to the Presidency in 2016. If she announced early she would have little or no meaningful Democratic competition, and I don't see anybody on the GOP side of the aisle that can take her.

Christie is the best bet the Republicans have in 2016, although Rubio is a promising young talent and a good speaker. As somebody else said, it's a matter of whether or not the GOP base can forgive Christie for being pals with Obama. If they are smart, they won't let that disqualify the best candidate they have.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that Hillary's injury is a little more serious than we've been led to believe. I saw the photo of her walking out of the hospital holding Chelsea's hand and it struck me that she needed some support. She's been conspicuously absent from the media for a while now and that's rather telling. I hope she recovers and if she never runs for another office she's done her part for the country.
