Hey Tyler,
9 Diaries!!!! Wow. One of the most prolific threads ever on the ABB website. Did you imagine this when we moved over here? I am sure glad you started the first diary.
Happy New Administration to all! I look for and hope for mainly a major change in attitude where people can and will care for each other no matter the other's politics and we all care more for Mother Earth. I do believe we have at least on more very bad economic year with more company closings and job losses, but I hope we have a good attitude and hang in together while we battle to get this great nation working together, more efficiently, once again.

Yes Jack I am glad. It is quite overwhelming like Sue said. I got my treatment today. That is the good news. The bad news is my doctor thinks I have pneumonia based on what he saw from the blood tests. He ordered chest x-rays.

_______________________________________________________________________
Tyler, It seems you have had constant chest problems this year-any chance they just never get it completely cleared up so it keeps coming back? good luck anyway you look at it.

You are exactly right Jack. They never got all of the pneumonia. That plus COPD. Like the doctor in the hospital told me, with everything wrong with you your body can't take another hit of pneumonia.

As far as the new diary, sorry but I wanted to clear up space during the Beacon Run thing. Even before that the diary was usually on page 2 anyway.

Hey there JHawkers! Weekend is drawing closer ... Yippee!

Me too!!! :-D Hoping to meet some new people there this year (and re-meet some old friends - like Eileen, susea, Mitzi...)

Hey there Tyler! You keep yourself warm and healthy now, you hear? The COPD will weaken you to pneumonia and having had pneumonia myself a few times it seems that once you get it you become sucseptable to repeat occurrances. No wheelies in the snow, my friend! Hope you and Debi are enjoying the new digs!

Jason - hope your mom is doing better and got some answers to her health problems with the upper GI.

Have you gone insane, Wotty?!?!?!?

~~~waving~~~ Hope you all are having great days!
So Tyler, will they now be able to clear up your chest completely since they now know they did not in the past? I hope so, as I think this would give you more energy-after all, how tiring your body must get after just simple breathing is impaired? It must make you tired just breathing. Good luck buddy.
Jack, I am so confused I can't answer your question. I am not sure I am getting the best care. An example; I have not heard from my doctor about the chest x-ray order today. So I don't know whether to roll with the flow or push the matter.
Sang, I am sick of you getting sick of me getting sick.
Leave it to Sang to make me laugh at my health problems. I think the best thing is to not mention them. Then I will not think about them more often. Plus you all have to be tired of hearing about it.
So Jack, when does the weather break out there?
Just let the new diary flow at its own pace. No need to bump up the numbers just for the hell of it. We don't need a bad reputation. OK Eric?
The thought of your chest not being as clear as possible is what would make me call for answers. I f you are now as cleared up as they can get you with drugs then they should tell you that. It is hard for me to do enough exercise to get breathing that heavy and I am not wc bound. I just figure the easier it is to breathe the better.
I hope your dr gives you an answer.
Tyler, this year your weather and mine have been different-not like some years when we just get the weather a couple of days before you. The arctic fronts that often give Denver it's real cold spells when they drop south right along the mountains this year are dropping south farther east than the front range, so we actually had warm weather the last 3 weeks. This week we did get a cold spell but it is not real cold, and we have some snow/snow flurries coming the next couple of days. Maybe our coldest spell is yet to come, but I'd rather a slow steady warm up!
Sunday, Sunday... Hey JHawkers! Hope you are all staying cozy and warm. Big snowfall here in Middle Earth sometime last night after I fell asleep. One of those lovely snows, with big, light and fluffy flakes. The sun is shining and it really is beautiful outside. If there was more than one digit in the current temps (believe it's something like 5 right now) it would be a perfect day for Lola and I to take a walk in the park. Oh well - sitting here in the sunshine in my comfy clothes and slippers enjoying a good cuppa with the Sunday paper is nice, too!
Tyler - hope that you heard some good news on that chest x-ray, my friend! You stay cozy and take care of those lungs - the harsh winter air can reek havoc! And certainly hope you never feel that you can't bring anything and everything here to discuss. To me, that is one of the special, comforting things about this thread - the thing that drew me in to begin with. Caring people sharing their lives. And you at our core.
Enjoy your days, peeps!
Winter hits Denver. We had snow and very cold today-just a week after it was in the 70's!
