That's a fun, "underdog" movie. I saw it after I saw Crossroads. I was kinda hopin' he'd beat the crap outta the bully with a geetar! El Ka-bong!

I adore this movie. I liked Karate Kid Part 2 better though.

Love the Karate Kid movies.... and Crossroads is one of my favorite.

My oldest daughter was a contestant in a debutante ball some years ago. We were both dressed to the nines and she had to turn to me and curtsey before we danced. As she curtsied, she dropped her head and I lightly slapped her in the face and said in my best Mr.Miyagi impression..."Look eye,...always look eye"....

A photographer just happened to take a picture of us about that time so we have a snap of that moment....
