What took the first and second solos on Liz Reed and Whipping Post on the Fillmore East album?

I know for a fact that Dickey takes the first solo on Liz Reed and Duane the second. I have Duane's solo memoried. The man had magic in his fingers!!!

I'm not the biggest fan of WP, so I'm not 100% sure, but I'd guess it's the same order. I know it is on other versions of WP from that era.

Regarding the "intro soloing" before the main theme starts, SPDB blew me away at the Left Coast/Big Men/HTN party. Truly a pleasure to listen and watch.

I agree. Not just the solos and the impovisational genius, but their musicianship, if there is such a word, just blows me away. In my opinion, these were extremely accomplished musicians. I tend to think that was what Bill Graham was referrring to in his famous introduction
