anyone remember a band that used to play Macon alot called Triple Play? Used to play the Rookery, which I also used to frequent to see a really cool band named Widespread Panic. Anyway - TP was a funky band with a base player named steve Crumpy, if my memory serves me right. I was wondering the other day what happened to those guys. Many fond memories of Bob O'Dea also, God rest his soul.

Born and raised ... but I left in '76 for other
parts and haven't lived there since... but I still
see my family there. The stuff you mention
happened since then... so I wasn't there to
live it.

Not sure but Bloodkin out of Athens has a bass player named "Crumpy" Edwards (I believe.) Crumpy has also played with the Smiling Assasins, the keyboard player from WP's side project. Would tend to think they may be the same cat. Not that many bass players named "Crumpy" certainly not as say guitarists named "T-Bone."

I went to the Bloodkin sight and, although there was only one picture of him, I think that may just be the "Crumpy" I was referring to.
Thanks man
