Didn't know if this could be done, is there a way to download clips and save them to DVD? Any info would be gratefully appreciated.

firefox and video downloader plugin will do it... it basically pulls the last video you wathed out of cache and saves it as a file... you rename the file to "filename.flv" and use a flash player to view them

Firefox:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Video Downloader:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2390

Here is another firefox extension that might work better for some people:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006

you might need a .flv player...:
http://applian.com/flvplayer/download_flv_player.php

maybe these will help

If you go to youtubex.com and paste the URL for the video into the appropriate box, it will download the video. You have to save the file with an .flv extension. this format will not play in all players, but the video can be converted. Maybe someone else can help with this, so you can burn to a DVD.

I was told to be very careful about youtubex.com as in, copyrights are very protected on videos, that's why the regular youtube only allows viewing.

Not a computer expert, but don't be suprised if you use youtubex.com and then years down the road, you get an official summons or something to show up in court.

Not trying to scare anyone, but see Napster and lawsuits etc.....
