Hey, all. I've been hard at work on this the last few weeks and would sure appreciate some honest critique. The first two songs I wrote (and recorded - that's me on all, save sax and lead vox), and the last is a jazzy reading of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."

Thanks a ton for listening, guys and gals, and Merry Christmas!

1. Christmas Our Way - sort of a country-ish opening - but turned funky real fast! Nice and non traditional! Very nice all around - great sax and vocal.

2. Loving You this Christmas - love the female voice - almost a smooth Susan T! Nice backing vocals - a trio or the same singer doubling? Regardless - nice!

3. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas - one of my favorite holiday tunes to begin with. Nice, smoky treatment! Great piano/sax accompaniment!

Frank - what type of system did you use to record/mix? Very nice!

Rusty, first off thanks for the kind words! Coming from you that means a lot!

As for the console, I use Cubase 5.0 which is similar to Pro Tools but simpler and way less expensive.

The backing vocal group on "Loving You This Christmas" is comprised of me and the lead singer. She sang two parts and I one.

Glad you like it all!!
