For veterans of this venue: Will I have a poor view or deal with lousy sound if I don't spring for the tickets with the 100 level seating? I've never seen a show here, but seems to be of similar size to other "sheds." At Jones Beach, I never minded being up in the high seats or wherever b/c the sound was good everywhere and they have big screens on both sides of the stage to give closeups of the musicians. Are there screens at Montage?
Also, I went to see them a few years back at the venue in the Finger Lakes near Canadaigua, NY. I was pretty far back in the middle and the music sounded very "tinny" and metallic to me. It seemed like it was likely the acoustics of the location, sound bouncing around with the partial roof, etc. Does anyone have any comments on the acoustics and layout of Montage that will help me finalize my decision b/f Wednesday?? ...Would like to go with the $99 GA ticket, but not if the experience is far worse. Thanks in advance to any with comments!

Thanks for the comments, absnj.

So, I'll assume there are no screens @ Montage MT

And that there is a roof over part of the seating area?

or that nobody knows......or nobody wants competition for the reserved seats

I hope that everyone that is in the ticket hunt tomorrow gets what they are after!

Unlike Jones Beach, the floor is pitched, so you will able to see. Of course if people are standing, you will need to stand as well. It's been a while, but I don't think the venue is as large as JB. I don't think the sound could be worse than Jones Beach.

Because it's not built over the Atlantic Ocean.
