check out the Jaimoe video of 'Push Push' from The Iridium on the cover page of JAMBANDS.COM.
Great version of a song i never would have known about if it wasn't for Duane Allman

I've often wondered what this line up of the ABB could do with this Herbie Mann classic....would be nice to hear just one time ...my thoughts only

Before the 2009 Beacon run, when there was all sorts of talk about having all the guests that Duane had played with, I though the same thing, until someone burst my bubble and told me Mann passed away in 2003.

How about the original. I really like the guitar player on this one.

Ah man, that's sad. Didn't know Mr. Mann had passed away, but I had hoped it would come up during the 2009 run as well. Chances now look slim to none that our dream may be just that.
Derek loves that jazzy blues music, maybe TTB will cover it one day. That would be very interesting.

Yes, please. Preferably in the Jacksonville area.

Jaimoe's Jasssz Band will be opening for Gregg Allman in Jax on January 13th. Why wait for something that will probably never happen, when you have a good chance at something that will?

Plus you get to see Gregg. That ain't too shabby.

Yes, please. Preferably in the Jacksonville area.

You don't have to convince me! I'm all over that one, too. In addition to the great music, the Florida Theatre is my favorite place to see shows in Jacksonville. Looking forward to it.

There's my 10:16 of fame......nice shot of the back of my head, closest to the stage, right in front of the sax player....
