I agree on the day brother:

Leave work early today and out for a St Paddys dinner with my bride.
Off to NYC tomorrow for the weekend.
Lots of basketball all the way through.
And of course the brothers Fri and Sat.

Ive got Kansas going all the way in one pool and NC in the other.

Enjoy all!

It's gonna be a great tournament. Here's my pool picks, and not a bad draw I might add:

1. Duke
2. West Virginia
3. Florida State
4. Michigan State
5. Butler
6. Memphis
7. Princeton
8. Texas-San Antonio

It's low stakes, just 8 guys putting in $20 each, more fun than anything else. So the winner takes $160 (minus your own $20).

At least he didn't screw you on a table in an Italian restaurant after hours....if he did you might have grounds for legal action!

Interesting ending to the Butler game bad calls both ways. I dont feel sorry for Pitt though all he had to do was make a free throw

I could not disagree more. First Butler gave the game to Pitt with a stupid foul; the ref HAD to call it. But then Pitt was even MORE stupid, the guy raked him all over his forearm, obvious, and Pitt gave the game back. Good for me, I've got Butler in my pool. Both were cases of young college guys being too ramped up, adrenaline overriding the cerebral cortex.

Agreed. Both call's were correct,IMO...You want to see TWO bad calls at the end of a game,go back & watch the Memphis game.

Just to take any question out of the issue, from this morning's paper, here's a quote from Pittsburgh's Nasir Robinson:

"I've been playing basketball my whole life, and I know I shouldn't have done that. It was a stupid play. It wasn't the ref's fault. It was my fault."
Robinson tried to answer another question but got choked up and just shook his head before putting a towel over his head.

I like when Jay Bilas quoted Bob Knight: "Stupid loses more games than smart wins."

Not a Bobby Knight fan by any stretch but he is right on the money there.
