That's a good question. I assumed USPS. My mailbox was empty once again.
I also have not received the download. Has anyone else received their download code?

Nope....nor the vinyl.....

Ron, I don't know if you saw my previous post, but our local post office was closed for three days last week, and UPS and Fed Ex didn't deliver to us at all last week. We are genuinely sorry about the delays, but this was the biggest winter storm in Atlanta in decades and the whole city was shut down for several days.

This not only meant we couldn't ship everything as early as we would have liked, it meant we didn't receive everything we needed. We just received the posters for the deluxe pre-order package Saturday, and we're still waiting on part of our allotment of vinyl LPs. You can't ship what you don't have.

We have gotten the vast majority of the pre-orders out with the exception of some of the vinyl and Deluxe Limited Edition orders, which we will get out as soon as we receive the rest of the LPs.

The download should be going out one hour from now. Enjoy the music!

I saw it Rob.

I also see other people getting theirs on the 15th and before.

Had I not ordered it through HTN. I could have gone to the local Best Buy, spent less, gotten a free shirt AND had it today.

So what advantage did I get by pre-ordering it???

If we're being honest here, HTN has always, always, always let people down here with this stuff. Always.

Ron, I'll grant you this--If you had known that Atlanta was going to be crippled by once-in-a-generation winter storm the week the pre-orders were scheduled to go out, then yes, you might have chosen to go with Best Buy. But I don't know how any of us could have known that in December.

I'd object to the idea that we are "always" late on pre-orders--the recent turnaround of the November ABB shows in time for Christmas strikes me as a pretty good example of a time where we hit our stated target--but it's fair to say it's happened before. The thing that makes this so frustrating is that we were much further ahead of the curve this time, in terms of having the CDs in stock 11 days before the release date.

However, unless you wanted us to walk to Skaneateles, Ron, I just don't know how we were supposed to get it to you. If you want to give us a hard time for getting you your shirt a couple of months late, go ahead, but at least in this particular case, there was a genuine act of God natural disater involved.

You should have an email for the download by now, most people have received it. Make sure to check the same email you used to order with, the link was sent to that email. Call us at (888) 746-4616 if you have any questions.

By the way, it's come to my attention that some people think the shirt we are sending with our orders is the same shirt they are selling at Best Buy. It is NOT the same shirt. Ours has the cover artwork for Low Country Blues on it, not the 74 Tour image.

1. The weather issue is a valid excuse, although others seem to have had their orders for days.

2. I wasn't the one who commented about "always late" but it seems to be a problem.

3. Had I not called half a dozen times over several months my shirt order could still be there.

4. I only ordered the cd, not having posters or vinyl on hand should not have affected my order.

5. I still fail to see how the pre-order was an advantage.

I will say that Joe was right on top of the damaged disc I needed replaced on an IL even though the "skin" came off months after I had bought it, and he doesn't seem to take customer service complaints personally.

Maybe today will be my lucky mail day.

I appreciate the positive comments about our customer service, including from Ron. We may not be perfect, but when we do make mistakes, we always try to fix them.

We did have the CDs 11 days ago Ron, and the delay on the posters and vinyl has nothing whatsoever to do with the delay on your order. Chalk that up to the fact that we had no way to ship it to you until this past Thursday.

Considering that Monday was a Post Office holiday, that means they only had two business days to get to people before Tuesday. I'm glad that some people got theirs before the release date, but I'm guessing those people are closer to GA than upstate NY.

One advantage to the HTN pre-order is that every customer gets a free download with their CD. You can't get that from any other outlet. We also had unique posters and t-shirts that nobody else has, although I realize that isn't relevant to Ron's order.

We always appreciate feedback from our customers, and unlike many online retailers, you can call us toll free at (888) 746-4616 and talk to a real human being if you have questions.
