Not getting your Peach-O-Gram?

Here's a page with step-by-step instructions to fix the common problems.

For the ABB website cognoscenti, the Cliff's Notes (tm) version:

a) You must have a valid account here at www.allmanbrothersband.com

b) You must be subscribed to the newsletter

c) Your email address must not be marked "bad" because attempts to email you have failed.

This last one is probably the surprising one. We used to only have a handful of "bad" emails in the database but now there are thousands, and I am sure many have been victims of "friendly fire." ISP's like Yahoo, AOL and Verizon have been particularly bad about bouncing email sent to valid addresses, and it's a Catch 22 -- if we keep sending to bouncing addresses, they even more aggressively reject our email. So we mark them bad.

If you login, click "Your Account" on the left, then click "Edit Your Information", you will see a long Bad Email message under your email address if it has been marked as "Bad," along with steps to fix it.

Normally once you're registered that's it. The emails sometimes get caught in your spam folder. But I don't think you have anything to worry about if the band can be trusted and the Beacon shows are their last.

Otherwise the instructions are on the first post in this thread!

In the Beacon previous sale in January you had to buy the CD to get the code; nothing since

ROWLAND, Need help too. Long time member, but stopped getting POG. Yahoo user. my ticketmaster account has ABB marked as favorite but I still need the presale code I guess. Used to be so simple years ago. Just physically stand in line for your tickets!!! Eve

OK, just changed my settings - email account here on ABBHTW. We'll see if I get the POG resent. Hopefully it won't bounce.

I just realized it my peacho gram was set to my old email account, which is no longer valid. I updated my subscription, but I'm assuming I won't get another newsletter until the next regular distribution - is there anyway I can get a resend on a previous newsletter for the pre sale code? You'll see I'm a long standing newletter receiver.. just an email address screw up...

Didn't get a POG for the first series of shows. Went to check my settings, reset what should have been reset, and still no POG...yet. I've been here for years, and never had a problem before...please help.

I haven't received a PEACH-O-GRAM since the BEACON pre-sale last year. I'm still active and i checked my account, no problems with emails.....SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HELP!!!

i followed dear ROWLAND'S instructions....but there were no changes, etc.

Your Peach-o-Gram was sent and accepted by Verizon.net for delivery.
They changed their spam filtering this past year and the new one seems to be blocking us again. Please let them know we are not spammers, and we will go through the process to try to get whitelisted.

Hi...I'm having the same problem in not getting POG'S.
i've been a member for years and stopped getting Beacon POG'S years ago.
I get POG's sent during the year,announcing other tour info,but not the Beacon ones.
I have a verizon.net email acct,so i changed to a gmail acct.to try and get the POG'S
Any ideas on if this will work?

Hi All,
I can assure the POG was sent out. I have been answering dozens of emails from people who didn't get it - so far in every case it was one of these reasons:

1. We sent it and have the mail server log entries that show the receiving ISP accepted for delivery. That's all we can do in this case. Biggest offenders: Yahoo, Comcast, AOL
2. We sent it but ISP rejected email from us as a spammer. We file requests for whitelisting.
3. The email was marked as "bad" in our database because attempts to send to that address were rejected. If we keep sending to addresses that reject, we get listed as a spammer and can't send to that ISP at all.

#1 is the most common case - about 80%.

Email me if you are having problems, but check your spam folders first.

Sorry folks, this used to be a lot simpler!

Well...never once had an issue getting a POG...this time I do...I log in to HTN at 1:30pm and cant find ANY loge seats for ANY dates...luckily I have a CD coming in February..I end up with Lower Balc on a day I didn't want...Thanks, whomever....BTW, Loge tix are $177 now? Sell outs!! I saw a 4 hour Mule show for 90 bucks on New Years Eve...justify $177 to me!

Navigate to ticketmaster.com,
enter the presale password when prompted.

Still registered, still can log-in, but am not seeing/getting POG's.
I'm still signed up for the newsletter. Is there anything else i should do to insure I still get the POG's for the Beacon and for Peach Fest?

Has anything changed from yahoo on this?

I was just going to request them to "white list" hittingtheweb.com's mail server when I came across an application for bulk senders to request their own white listing. Has that been tried?

I emailed Lana a few weeks ago to try and proactively sort it out before the busy season started, but have not heard back.

I have not received a Peach-o-Gram in nearly 2 years I believe. Something with yahoo was the culprit before. I pm'd with Roland and spoke with yahoo and it got fixed for a bit, that must have been 3 years ago now. Not sure if yahoo just trashes all their emails, but they never even make it to my junk box as I check both inbox and junk daily.
