Good Morning Loungers.
The holidaze are upon us.
Up early on my first day off,
can't shut down that internal alarm clock.
About the time I start sleeping in,
will be the time to end vacation and go back to work.

We got nothing but rain yesterday, so thats the good news.
Bad news, another storm heading our way on Sunday and I am
hoping we are as lucky.

Hugh, beautiful grandchildren. I have two teenagers now, but I sure
do miss them being young when Christmas comes around The days leading up to
Christmas morning were always exciting and memorable.

Y'all stay warm and dry, and get that shopping done,
or at least watch a football game!

Later

Good morning!

Rob, hope you get all your software issues straightened out. I love my computer but it's hell when it doesn't work properly.

Ron, what the heck is that thing? Looks fun at any rate.

Doob, your grandkids are so adorable! Why didn't Sam get to go??

I'm with you, Kitty. Can't wait for some grandbabies.

J.R., I know you're lurking. Loved the card! Sarah's growing up so fast.

Went Christmas shopping last night. Found some great bargains. Waiting til the last minute isn't such a bad thing after all. I'm not finished, though. Where's the best place to find a cheap digital camera?

Evening People

J R thanks for the card Sarah is sure growing up fast!

Hugh your granddaughters are precious.

Boy did we get a mess here! 10 inches or so then it turned to sleet then froze! Glad we kept up with the shoveling last night.

Computer runs great again but still having sound problems. Now I have to install all the important stuff. Nero, EAC, Utorrent etc. You get the picture

Going to a Yankee swap party tonight. It will be a blast.

For those who don't know what it is. Everyone buys a gift price limit set. Everyone draws a number and what ever it comes up is where you pick a present. If you don't like yours you can swap it with somebody else's gift! Whoever goes first gets to pick last since there is no one to swap with. It is really fun as people go back and forth with this. Many people bring great gag gifts. The twist is some of the gifts (5) have money, gift certificates, dinner for two and movie tickets. These are predetermined before and mixed in with the gifts that people bring.

Hey now, how is it going today folks?

Got out to the mall today and shopped with my daughter.
Shopping was just ok, but I did run into some friends I hadn't
seen in quite awhile. The local mall was packed by the time we
left at 12:30pm. God Bless you people who work retail during the
holiday season. I did it when I was younger, and it was brutal.

Flyers have a matinee, and hammer the Caps.
I think Ovechkin had 20 shots all by himself.

Good game tonight, guess who I am pulling for?
Let's go Ravens!!!!!!

That is a tablet.

Basically it replaces your mouse with a pen.

The inner rectangle is proportional to your monitor.

Best part is your mouse still works while the tablet does, making it easy to move between functions while the pen handles the fine stuff.

Makes drawing selections in Photoshop much easier.

You can also use it to sign documents.

I can see why they say once you get used to it you'll never use a mouse again.

Circuit City has one for $80.

I have to get one for my father to give my mother.

There were lots of online deals with printers included, maybe check tomorrow's Staples sale flier.

I bought my wife one last year and got a free Canon printer with it.

Good evening, Loungers!

Rob - hope your weather straightens out by Monday! My Jason and his girlfriend are flying out of TF Green late Mon. afternoon to come to Iowa.

Blizzard warnings here today. 40 mph winds blowing around the foot of snow we got yesterday.

Merry Christmas to all!

Evenin All

Seems I've missed a day or so. The above post has a link to the Highline Ballroom in NYC has some ABB after Beacon show concerts. Confirms 2 weekends.

I've officially migrated to my MacPower Book...very cool. BUT The download thing doesn't make sense/work for me.
UTorrrent has a Beat for mac version that is pretty stripped down and when I dl a show it doesn't automatically find the client.

I know Macs are the better platform for photo work, but it's taken me so long to get used to a PC.

No way I want to go through all that again.

Late evening friends,

Hope you all are enjoying great weekend and this wonderful Xmas season.
My work is soooooooooooooooo busy for these few weeks and still has no idea of when it'll be finished up.
Couldn't catch up when the lounge turned up to X, and there're already so many posts, so not easy to read them all.
I think I must did many excuses to you all because of lost opportunities to catch up what happened around you. Please forgive me about it.

Ed,

I'm still using old version of BitTorrent for torrent works on Mac.
I tried some others (Vuze, BitRocket etc) in the past but BitTorrent is simple and easy to use.
Vuze seemed good to use but couldn't use other network software fairly while DLing, so I stopped to use it.
DIME doesn't accept latest version of BitTorrent, so I'm using old version - 4.4.1 - and it works great to me.

If you need this version 4.4.1, please DL it from following link I uploaded on my private internet folder.

BitTorrent-4.4.1.dmg

Other selection, Transmission gets good evaluations on net but I don't try it yet.
I hope it works good to you as well.

Speakin' of bit torrent software, here's a question. I use UTorrent. I've noticed that no matter how long I seed a show, my overall ratio maxes out at a certain number and never goes above it. What's up with that? Do I need to change my settings?
