Rich shut down the last one.

I'm on my way to Buffalo.

Y'all stock the coolers, we'll party when I get back.

Hugh is gonna book the bands for this one.

So good to hear from you, Mandy. I think of both you and Hugh often. I'd love to see his headstone with his drum kit. That is awesome. Much love to you and the family.

Hello loungers!

Beautiful weather here in CT for my "weekend", sunny, dry and 80F.

Went to the free Hartford Jazz Fest last night, great weather and a great show. Saw drummer Winard Harper and his band, what a great drummer. Trumpeter Josh Evans is excellent and their vocalist Jazzmeia Horn is great too. Great setting and great jazz for free, can't beat that.

Drew, glad your son is OK, bummer about the car.

Good to see Mandy stop by, wishing her all the best.

Colin, another great photo! I loved visiting Rose Hill Cemetary. Luckily I was there before all the fences were installed. I was also lucky enough to see the Big House when Kirk still lived there and had Kirk as the tour guide. What a good guy he was to me when I visited.

Best wishes to all, I'm off for a hike with a couple of retired buddies.

Another rainy day here in the UK ... we are lucky here in the South as there are extensive floods up North with over a months worth of rain falling at the weekend ...

Jan and I have a short vacation booked for September up in the Lake District ... I think the Lakes will be full by then!!!

Hope you are fairing better where you are ...

Wanted to stop in and say hi as its been awhile. I'm hanging in. Recently had our wedding anniversary (6/22) to get thru and did fairly well. I'll be spending his birthday later this month getting my memorial tattoo touched up. Have pics on Facebook but will try and post some here as well. Don't think I ever posted any of his headstone neither. Had his drum set etched in on the back of it, turned out really good.

Think I remember posting that his daughter Sarah was expecting again. She's due in Oct and has found out its a boy. His name will be Beckett and middle name Allen in memory and honor of his Poppie :-) I know Hughey is smiling down about that.

Colin I'm glad to hear you had a good time in Memphis. Hughey was really looking forward to meeting you on that trip. I'm hoping to be on your side of the pond next year as I plan on visiting London so maybe we can meet then.

I miss him every second but still helps to know that I'm not alone in that.

Morning folks

Def. getting pumped for some ABB, can't wait..

Well my son Greg totalled another car the other night. Thank goodness he is ok.. Swerved to miss a pack of deer and went out of control and hit a tree. Not too far from the house. He had no cell phone on him, walked home told us and we went back to the scene and called the cops. Now they want to get him on leaving the scene, comon, what else could he do. I think we all did the right thing, we did report it.. Will see how it plays out and what summons he gets..

Have a good day, y'all..... Drive safe.

Glad your son is ok Drew ... bills can be paid and cars can be replaced ... loved ones are more difficult to come by ...

Chili is a bonus, like making lemonade from lemons.

Glad he's OK.

That said, NEVER swerve to avoid an animal, you lose all control.

Hit the brakes hard and the horn as well.

Worst that could have happened hitting the herd head-on would be new front end.

and the best is chilli? Glad he's OK Drew, he's a lucky guy, although the insurance company may not feel the same way.
