I'm glad to see that I'm not alone with my addiction to 24. I haven't ever watched this show as it came on tv. I bought Season 1 on DVD and I've been hooked ever since. I always end up watching 3 or 4 episodes at once because they always leave it hanging with something so great that I have to watch the next one. I guess I'll have to wait a few months for Season 4 to come out on DVD. 24 is possibly my favorite TV show of all-time. A few other favorites are Cheers, That 70's show, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Dog the Bounty Hunter, etc...

Boston Legal is getting good.

Spader, Captain Kirk and Murphy Brown what a combo.

I love Captian Kirk, still catch the original Star Trek on SciFi channel.

Peace
John

CSI

it used to be tech tv's "The Screen Savers" but they changed the cr3w & the new show discusses gaming stuph mainly, with alot of unimportant tech news & some of the most ridiculous, off-the-wall "black hat hacking" tips!!! *grrrr....

Allow me to rephrase this:

Best shows, favorite shows, and only shows I watch: "CSI" and "CSI: Miami"

every once in a great while, I'll watch "Without a Trace" but I guess I'll need to check out "24" at some point since everybody keeps talking about it...

Don't really watch too many shows anymore, but all time favorites for me are All In The Family, and the Simpsons...I love satire of American society.

I have to say, the makeover show they do on Sunday nights on ABC, when they do over a family's house always gets me. Let us not forget the Surreal Life too. Mini Me riding around nude on a cart and pissing in front of Peter Brady's door is priceless.

I'm gonna revise my statement and say that Arrested is definitely the funniest show out there right now. I can't think of anything close.

I've always liked the half-hour commercial for The Ultimate Carson Collection.

COME ON Linnie, jeez, TV rots your brain? What about this website, the interminable posting of drivel, collecting hundreds of abb shows. You know, Grateful Dead fans were coined Dead Heads due to their lifestyle, and I've heard of the collector types in general referred to as SH!T HEADS, but of course it feels better to be called a Peach Head, or a Parrot Head, but Dick Head never seems to feel good even if you like Dickey Betts.

I was watching Nip Tuck there for a while until it got ridiculous, violent, very depraved and redundant.

I was watching Shield reruns and found it to be very corrupt, and sort of defiling to watch.

I watch King of the Hill, and have seen too many of them already.

I like King of Queens, it is decent, but not a classic show. I watch it for the chick. Fatso is overacting all the time.

I took to collecting dvd series recently.

I have Buffy the Vampire Slayer, years 1, 2, 3, 5, 6.

I have The Twilght Zone Volume One, and then they released it as the Definitive Edition, the first year and invalidated what I had bought. Pissed me off.

The Honeymooners, and then recently some college found a LOST episode and it got aired on Nick at Night, or something. Pissed me OFF again.

Star Trek season one

Simpsons seasons one and two.

Ren and Stimpy

Good Times, season One. Dynomite!!

Kiefer Sutherland with Leno Friday

Libby, have you caught up with 24 yet this season?

24 star K.S. (Jack Bauer) is zipping over from CTU to Burbank to be the main guest on The Tonight Show this Friday, 01.28.

Warning: 24 spoiler content!

Libby, don't read this unless you're caught up with the new season!

I talked with my mom on the phone last evening and warned her that she and her husband are in peril unless CTU can get control of those remaining 6 nuclear plants.

As you know from watching last week, the terrorists--or whoever they really are--had slipped in code to take control of all the nation's nuclear reactors, with the possible result that meltdowns would soon be triggered. Edgar at CTU was able to undo the code and start to regain control of all the reactors. One by one across these United States, the plants were freed of the malicious control, as monitored on the big electronic map, and the folks in CTU started celebrating.

Edgar was the first to notice, though--and the others followed suit--that a handful of nuclear plants could not be wrested back from the saboteurs' code. Six symbols on the map continued flashing, meaning that their meltdown was still on track. I was personally alarmed to see that the Cordova, Illinois, plant was one of them.

Cordova is on the Mississippi across the state from Chicago (old map--all the plants have long been online, except Savanna never got built, and Zion and one of the Dresden reactors have since been mothballed).

The Cordova plant is 15 miles NE of the Quad Cities, where the Mississippi jogs west for a while. This plant supplied electricity for my stereo and guitar amp while I was a teen, and my mom and her husband have lived back in the Quads for some time now. I told Mom that unless Jack Bauer and the others can get positive results, the saboteurs could soon turn the beautiful Quad Cities into an American Chernobyl. I urged her to watch 24 Monday night and pray that Jack and CTU are able to prevent this catastrophe.

If Jack and them are not successful, I will mourn briefly but immediately fly to L.A. to offer my services to CTU. I have a personal stake in this, and terrorists and saboteurs beware, once you cross me.

Mom said she couldn't watch the show, though, because Carl gets confused watching dramas, especially with bad guys, and later will worry that they're in the house. She says they have recently watched The Andy Griffith Show and All in the Family, plus sports, where Carl is either not threatened or can tell the difference between the TV and the family room.

24 episode to be replayed this weekend

If you're like me, you were tied up with the NCAA championship game and missed Monday's hour of 24. This was the first one I've missed since this "day" started in January, and I was wondering what should be done to get back on track.

I went to the 24 website to read an episode synopsis, which would give enough of an outline for me to be able to get into next week's hour easily, but without totally ruining everything for when I finally saw that episode in its entirety. On the homepage of the website, though, there's this message:

The only time you'll get 3 chances!
Since this episode is so important, you can catch an encore of show 416, "10p-11p,"
on Friday 4/8 @ 9/8c
and on Sunday 4/10 @ 9/8c
(but don't get used to the repeats . . .)

Since Sunday 4/10 @ 8c I will be in the midst of greatly enjoying an early show featuring the guitar magic of Sonny Landreth, it looks like Friday it is!

I am absolutely addicted to the original "Law and Order" and I don't know why. I just can't stop watching it, and they won't stop showing it. I guess it works out for everyone.

Also a big fan of the Simpsons, Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and this new show on MTV 2 called Wonder Showzen. It's absolutely crazy. It's like a fake kids show. It really is Sesame Street on acid.
