It aired a few weeks ago in some markets, tonight in the Nashville market @ 11:00PM on PBS. Looking forward to this show. Anyone seen it yet, or better yet, anyone there?

------------------------------------------------------------

A great venue, a great tour, two great artists and a great performance. So it was for icons Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles before a sold-out crowd. Their concert together, one of only a handful in the U.S., followed the release of All the Roadrunning, their long-awaited rootsy collaboration. That special night has been captured in this unique Soundstage episode. Highlights include the title track “All the Roadrunning,” Emmylou’s “Red Dirt Girl” and Knopfler’s “Speedway at Nazareth.”

This concert premieres on PBS March 1, 2007

The way that shows are taped are not always the way they appear in the broadcast. Take a look at the set list as it was originally performed at our studio and compare that to the order performed in the Soundstage episode.

This show is also available on DVD. I saw them a week or two earlier at Radio City and had terriffic seats - row BBB in the pit, centered right between Mark and Emmylou. Fantastic show if you're a Knopfler fan (I am!).

He's working on a new CD now, with possible release later this year, and hopefully a tour in '08. I'll go anywhere to hear Mark play.

Here's a few photo's from the show I saw:

Not on here in ATL but thanks to your post, found PBS' Austin City Limits tonight features original members of the Meters and Nevilles, nice preview for those going to the BB's aftershows next weekend.
