Wow. Didn't mean to start World War III Just reporting what was passed on to me. I'll add that I try not to get into political discussions, at least not on a public forum of my favorite band I don't think, however, it's important to necessarily agree with the political views of those on stage. Having said that, remember that we don't know if this is happening or not. I can say that Bruce is a nice guy and has lots of fun playing live. If the Brothers want to have him sit in here and there, I have no problem with that, and it's not my job or duty to tell them how to run the tours, thank God! (What a mess I'd make of it all LOL) I'd like to believe they wouldn't ask him if they didn't have fun with him too. I'd also be surprised to see him at every show, and for every song. Just my 2 cents (or would that be 6 or 8 by now )

Back to Demi drooling, Bobo! LOL

Peace,

Terry

Pete - What on Earth does Bruce Willis' or Tim Robbins' political views have to do with anything? Whether you agree with them or not? I'm sure the ABB don't interview their guests on their views before asking them onstage.

Um, Lee, did you read the thread?

I was responding to the fact that a lot of folks had already posted about his pro-war politics. And folks here may know that I happen to be antiwar but that wasn't really what it was about... so my point, if you read my post, was that it doesn't matter what their politics are, it's the fact that they're celebrities with minimal musical talent. Which is why I mentioned both Bruce (right-winger) and Tim Robbins (left-winger) to say they're equally stoopid as rock n' rollers onstage to me.

Sorry, missed to two posts mentioning the war. Yours was the first I noticed mentioning a political party. Guess I should ask them the same question. Who cares what he thinks about the war? Maybe Warren can ask him if he's a boxers or briefs guy and if Bruce answers correctly, he's in. Makes about as little sense imo.

I did post it first as politics and music was on my mind after reading an article this morning about the Dixie Chicks getting clobbered on the country charts with their latest release. Now if fans didn't care why is there this negative reaction? They do care. I doubt if the brothers have calcuated the marketing value of someone like Willis in the south but their management has. And if their managment hasn't they should be fired.

You should look at the first post of this thread. That is marketing. And it ain't going to appeal to my wife. So someone wrote that with a market in mind. I would think it very unlikely the band had anything to do with the promo though.

He's actually a very good harp player and all around great guy to hang out with as well.
It would make headlines in People Magazine (and other mags read in the dentist's waiting room) which would be great for the band. God forbid they write about good music.
Still, it seems like a nutty idea to me.
