Phil :Happy Birthday to ya!

I heard Bob Weir is having "problems", best wishes that they are solved. Heard the 40th ann. tour is in question. If it is Phil grab Molo, Jimmy and Rob and go out and play some shows, we will come out to support Phil and Friends

ya warren is pretty good with phil and friends... but he does fit in an abb setting better than like a dead setting. Jimmy has the more psycadellic feel
dont get me wrong... there both awesome
but i definately think jimmy does better with the dead

Happy Birthday Phil! I would love to see the original Summit on the Sound lineup come to fruition. Anybody remember that from 2 or 3 years ago? The event got cancelled, but it the lineup would've been, I believe, Phil, Molo, Barraco, Scofield, Herring and Branford Marsalis. Talk about a dream lineup!

For the sake of it, I hope Warren comes back with Phil & Friends. I don't care if he fits in with The Dead setting or not, he's great in that sorta setting!

Happy Birthday, Phil. Thanks for all the memories.

BTW, I hope Warren chooses to stay away ( or he's not invited) from any Dead related tours. His guitar vibe and voice are all wrong for their music. Great for ABB and Mule, though.

Phil and Friends with Molo, Barraco, Herring and Warren was one of the best bands I have ever seen. They were tight, a force unto themselves, would rather see them than The Dead.

I heard that Bobby was ill a time back and shows were canceled and that the second leg of Rat Dog tour was also questionable. I was on his site and it did not mention shows cancelled so I could be wrong, not trying to start rumours.
