i know warren was ranked 20-something in RS's list of greatest guitarists of all time......i've been looking for the rest of the list on the website and havnt been able to find it. can anyone help me find it????? thanks!

Thats really frusterating. If it were my list I would have Derek, Warren, and Jimmy Herring all in the top ten at least. I'm glad Duane got number 2, he deserves it.

There were some weird and stupid things on (and off) the list, but if you're an ABB fan, I think we came out pretty well. There's no other band with FOUR guitar players on there. And Jimmy Herring and Jack Pearson would both be way up there if I was making the thing.

I think Dickey Betts should have been around #3 instead of #58. Does anybody else agree with that? Duane does deserve #2.

this list is pretty off.....i agree w/ some of it, but i find it hard to believe that kurt cobain is better than jerry garcia, santana, haynes, betts, trucks, trey anastasio.....thats rolling stone for ya....

Yeah I don't think anyone at vh1 give a rats a** about the greats out there. I mean Kurt Kobain although very infuencial was at number 12!!

Tha's pretty high-minded, James, but if you saw how many people wrote in to the first thread about it, it seems to me a lot of people cared (most of them ecstatic that Duane was #2 and annoyed about a lot of other things). That's all the list was designed to do- start controversy to sell magazines.
