Thread: 2006 Peachies Nominations - Technicals - Best Use of Technology

Slammer - 1/26/2007 at 05:54 PM

Here is the thread you can nominate the "Best Use of Technology for ABB Information" for the upcoming 2006 “Technical Peachies Category”. This is kind of a Cell phone vs. Cujo's "Thingy" for real time setlists or anything else you may think of. Feel free to reference as many Best Uses of Technology as necessary. If someone already nominated a Best Use of Technology you feel is Peach worthy, go ahead and second that nomination.

We'll take nominations for the next week and a half (until Feb 5th). A few days before the official voting period (Feb 13 - 19th), the presenter of this award and I will pick the 5 or 6 devices that received the most nominations so we can include them on the official ballot. Try and keep this bumped for the next week or so to garner as many nominations as possible. Happy nominating

I don't know who to nominate, but I was floored by whomever gave us the ability to stream some of the Beacon shows the next morning

That was TaperRob that did the streaming of the Beacon gigs over at Live365.com. Awesome stuff!! and great recordings as well

No1ToRunWith - thanks, Eric, for providing continual music offerings in various threads around this site on a daily (heck, hourly!) basis

Thank you everyone for your vote. I have tried to spread the music of the Derek Trucks Band for the past 5 months with the live streams. I hope you have enjoyed the shows, 100+ to date, and no signs of stopping. Again thanks for he vote!
